Dina Lohan Says “Leave Lindsay Alone”

We must admit that Dina Lohan has not been publicly vocal about her children for the most part. As far as daddy Michael Lohan goes….that’s another story. His latest trash talk has finally gotten a rise out of Dina, who felt compelled to address her ex-husband’s latest claims about their eldest daughter Lindsay Lohan.

Yesterday Dina spoke with Page Six and made it clear that Michael is estranged from Lindsay and has no contact with her. Michael’s latest claim is that Lindsay is addicted to prescription pills and he wants the family to come together for an intervention. Hey….aren’t intervention usually kept a secret? We’re just saying…

Mother Dina said:

“I’ve had full custody of all my children for the last 10 years. He has been incarcerated for some of that time, so whatever is going on in Lindsay’s personal life is our business. And for him getting paid to say things about her when he’s five months behind in child support is wrong.

I can’t change Michael to make him do the right thing — that’s up to him and God. But it is hurtful for a child to have her own father, whom she has no relationship with, to say things in public about her like that.”

So does Lindsay have addiction issues? Dina said she has no idea what Michael is talking about and added that she can’t comment on everything that her ex says. Hmm, seems like she is dodging the question.

Michael Lohan Has Cleared His Schedule for Lindsay

This is great news! We’re sure that Lindsay Lohan must be breathing a sigh of relief after finding out that her father, Michael Lohan has cleared his schedule so that he can be by her side after her recent split with DJ Samantha Ronson.

Like any supportive father, Michael is concerned because break-ups are never easy and he plans to head to L.A. to meet with Lindsay in order to help her through this rough time.

Does that mean that Pops won’t be able to do his usual press rounds about LiLo’s sinking career and her pathetic love life? Man are we going to miss hearing his words of wisdom.

It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t include at least one quote from the ‘father of the year’. Speaking to Extra, he said:

“At a time like this, she (Lindsay) needs someone standing by her side. It’s about time she had both her parents with her, without Dina driving a wedge between us. It’s time for Lindsay to resurrect her life and career.”

The break-up was confirmed by Lindsay who says they are just “taking a break” and for the record People magazine is now saying that Samantha Ronson will not be seeking a restraining order against Lindsay. We wonder if she will against Michael?

Sam’s twin sister, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson made a visit to the LAPD on Monday, inquiring about how she and her mother should go about taking out their own restraining order against Lindsay.

Lindsay Lohan considers her father Michael Lohan “strange and scary”. She is concerned enough about his recent derogatory comments that she may opt to get an order of protection through the court system.

Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan and sister Ali Lohan have reportedly already sought restraining orders through Family Court in Nassau County, though Michael Lohan denies that has occurred.

LiLo says she is tired of her father commenting about her mother, sister and girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Michael’s latest diss of Ronson asserted that she is “dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity.”

Through her rep, Lohan issued the following statement to the New York Post:

”My father obviously needs to be on medication to control his moods. He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it’s dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and me my whole childhood.”

Anderson Cooper Rants About Living Lohan (Video)

Anderson Cooper guest hosted today with Kelly Ripa on Live with Regis and Kelly. Filling in for Regis Philbin, Cooper became very expansive about reality television. He reports that It’s Complicated starring Denise Richards is really quite good but he has some real problems with Living Lohan.

Anderson used some interesting phrases to capture the essence of Dina Lohan and her family: ‘a train wreck’, ‘atrocious’, ‘horrific people’ and more. He went a little easier on 14 year old Ali Lohan, but did insinuate that she might become a ’strip tease person’.

Kelly Ripa, like any good co-host worth her salt, tried to draw out the stand-in because she could see that he was striking a cord with the audience. She baited him mercilessly, becoming the straight ‘man’ while he unleashed his mini rant.

Well, well, well, Michael Lohan ‘the saint’ has a secret 13 year old daughter that his children never knew existed. But don’t worry, he was separated from his now ex-wife Dina Lohan at the time.

Let’s take a better look into this: Michael and Dina were married from 1985 until 2007. The couple had 4 children together, Lindsay(22), Michael Jr. (20), Ali (14), and Cody (12). So, it looks like somewhere between Ali and Cody there was a separation and the secret love child was born.

Michael made a statement to OK!:

“Years later the woman contacted me, convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child.”

Get your tissue out. It seems that Daddy Lohan sent his love child a picture of himself while he was doing time in the slammer. He even signed it “Love, Daddy.”

The babies mama is talking and says that her child has had many conversations with Michael. Lohan even called his daughter on June 12th for her 13th birthday. Awwww! Secret mama says, “It is time for Michael to take responsibility.”

We can’t wait to see what Dina has to say about this saga. Maybe the children could meet for the first time on Living Lohan. Now that would be a prime time tear jerker.

Well, things can change pretty fast in Dina Lohan’s world. Just last week the mother of Lindsay Lohan was asked if her daughter and Samantha Ronson were a couple. Her response was a big fat denial. OK! magazine chatted with Dina at the Project Cuddle event in NYC yesterday and asked her again about the relationship between the girls and this time she said:

If she’s happy, I’m happy. That’s all I’ll say. Samantha’s great. I’ve known her and her family for ten years.”

As for her estranged husband Michael Lohan and the blog he writes for OK! magazine.com, Dina added:

My husband writes a blog for you about my show! I know he’s my kids’ dad. They can talk to him whenever they want, I don’t stop them. I just want him to be respectful. It’s all about respect. You give respect, you get respect.”

Lindsay spent some time at an L.A. hospital on Friday and speculation swirled on the reason. Her rep stated that she was visiting a friend while Dina says that her recent trip to Cannes Film Festival has screwed up her asthma with the different climate changes and she was just having that checked out.

The mother of four wants to set the record straight on her lifestyle and insists she does not live a crazy party life.

I’m just trying to help my kids. I don’t want to hang out with 21-year old kids. I don’t even want to go out with the PTA crowd once a week – even though they do ask me.”

So this is what I got from the interview in a nut shell: Lindsay is dating Sam, Dina will continue to talk smack about Michael until he stops blabbing about her and their children, and last but certainly not least, she does not party with 21-year olds.

Ali says she aspires to be like her big sister, actress Lindsay Lohan and says that Lindsay has taught her the things to do and not to do. Yikes.

The much scrutinized Dina Lohan told Page Six that the reason she has decided to do a reality show is, “We have no choice. Tabloids and reality shows are not going away. If they know who Ali is as a person, its better.”

If you are thinking that you would get to see big sis Lindsay Lohan on the show, Dina insisted that Lindsay has her own career and this show will be all about Ali. But she may make an appearance every now and then.

Lord help us. I am sure Ali is thrilled by the thought that she is going to be the show’s focus. Has Dina not learned anything from past parenting mistakes and putting your children out for the media to eat up?

The kicker is the advice that Lindsay gave to Ali, “Stay strong. Don’t let rumors tear you apart. Don’t let anyone bring you down.” Great advice from… let’s say a role model… but Lindsay – I say practice what you preach sista.

Getting into the giving spirit, Michael Lohan and his ~~teenage~~ girlfriend Eren served up Thanksgiving dinner at the NYC Rescue Mission. Even better they, wore their matching black turtlenecks.

I was thinking it was due time to see Michael back in the media. Ever since Lindsay Lohan got out of treatment, I have not seen the two together or the actress with her mother Dina Lohan, for that matter.

X17 has reported that Dina Lohan is at Cirque Lodge in Utah visiting Lindsay at rehab for family week. There was speculation that Lindsay Lohan was coming home, but the latest word is that she has committed to stay another 2-3 months. Way to go Lindsay! I hope that she is able to get her issues under control.
