Charlie’s Angels ABC TV Series Remake (PHOTOS)

ABC is reportedly in final negotiations to bring back the iconic 70s television show Charlie’s Angels. The original Aaron Spelling series, that launched the careers of Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, ran from 1976-1981.

According to Variety, the 2000 and 2003 Charlie’s Angel movies were well received, starring Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz. While recent remakes of Melrose Place and 90210 have not garnered strong ratings, ABC is banking on a remake of the Angels doing well.

The key to success will be casting three extraordinarily gorgeous and talented actresses to recreate the magic. Will they go with know actresses or rely on a few relatively unknown fresh faces for the project?

Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page Cover Marie Claire October 2009 (KISS PHOTOS)

Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page grace the cover and share a hot kiss in the October issue of Marie Claire magazine. The actresses are in the middle of a publicity tour for their upcoming roller derby flick Whip It!

Barrymore directed the film and appears to have developed a girl crush on Ellen. She had this to say about her talented co-star, “She was in her frickin’ bra with an open jacket and hot-pink shorts, skating around the rink with red lips and..she was sexy as a mother…a feral creature. Drew Barrymore Directs Roller Derby Film ‘Whip It’ (PHOTOS, TRAILER)

Drew Barrymore is making her directorial debut in a new film Whip It. According to USA Today, the roller derby comedy tells the story of a Texas teen who is quite literally “hell on wheels”.

The film stars Ellen Page as an indie rock loving misfit who finds a way to deal with her small town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in Austin. In the photo above, the rowdy roller girls are dressed in modified girl scout uniforms and call themselves the Hurl Scouts.

Other notables in the project lineup include Marcia Gay Harden, Kristin Wiig, Juliette Lewis, Jimmy Fallon and Daniel Stern.

Drew Barrymore at HBO Grey Gardens Premiere (PHOTOS)

Drew Barrymore looked very vintage at the premiere of the HBO film Grey Gardens. The event was held at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City on Tuesday night. Her co-star Jessica Lange was also on hand.

The film, directed and co-written by Michael Sucsy, was shot in Toronto near the end of 2007. Barrymore and Lange play Little Edie and Big Edie, an aunt and first cousin of Jacqueline Bovier Kennedy Onassis. The two women lived in squalor and almost total isolation until Jackie and her sister Lee Radziwill stepped in and provided the funds to renovate the ramshackle property.

Lange has recently recovered from an injury she suffered at her family’s cabin in Minnesota – details here.

Grey Gardens will air Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. on the HBO network.

He’s Just Not that Into You co-stars Drew Barrymore and Justin Long split last July after dating for a year. Now the two will be reunited on the big screen, coming together to work on a new project.

New Line films has just announced that Drew and Justin will be starring together in yet another romantic comedy, Going the Distance. The movie is about a long distance relationship that suffers to the point where the couple realize that it might just be easier to date people closer to them.

Will Justin and Drew rekindle their romance? Over the weekend they were spotted together at the Farmers Market in Hollywood.

Barrymore’s latest project, Grey Gardens with actress Jessica Lange, will air on HBO April 18. Lange was recently hospitalized after a bad fall at her cabin in Minnesota. See details here.

Drew Barrymore has been making the rounds while promoting her latest film, He’s Just Not That Into You. At the L.A. premiere, she graced the red carpet and debuted a well kept secret…her tongue piercing.

It seems Drew has always wanted to have some tongue bling and finally took the plunge last summer. She reports that it didn’t hurt much at first but the pain intensified afterward to the point where she couldn’t eat or drink for two weeks. She proclaimed it a very effective “sick, sadistic and weird diet.”

The actress sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and chatted it up about the experience. Ellen presented her with an assortment of tongue bling – see video below.

The downside of her new piercing is that it seems to be scaring the guys away. She said, “I got it and then I’ve been single ever since. I did it for myself. I always wanted to get one.”

We’ve also got photos and video of Barrymore with Jessica Lange at the Golden Globes. The two, who starred together in Grey Gardens, appear to be inseparable. Is it just us or do they seem like more than just friends? In the second video, Barrymore says, “we fell in love” during the filming of the movie.

Actress Drew Barrymore, 33, and her boyfriend of almost one year, Justin Long, 30, have gone their separate ways. Drew’s rep has confirmed the split and adds that no other comments will be forthcoming on the subject.

It’s always so hard to judge Drew’s romantic state. Every time she is out and about, whether it was with Justin or an old boyfriend or ex-husband, the actress always looks and acts like she is on top of the world. Last November Justin and Drew co-stared in He’s Just Not That Into You. The two are said to be in Michigan currently, working on different projects.

Barrymore has been married twice, first to Jeremy Thomas for 39 days – from March 20 to April 28 in 1994. Her second trip to the altar was with Tom Green, this time lasting 15 months – from July 7, 2001 to October 15, 2002.

In March of 2007, during an interview with Jane Pratt on her Sirius Satellite radio show, Drew proclaimed that she does consider herself to be bisexual. The actress said that she didn’t think that only being with a woman would be enough for her.

So, my guess is that in the near future we are going to see Drew and her break-up buddy Cameron Diaz out and about on a beach somewhere. Who do you think Drew should hook up with this time around?
