Eva Longoria tweeted a teaser photo showing a sassy short hairstyle that she momentarily allowed her Twitter fans to think was the real deal.

Hollywood hairstylist Ken Paves and the actress vamped in an exaggerated pose that she captioned, “You guys like the new hairdo??”

It didn’t take long before she added, “Ok I’m kidding, its a wig! It’s a @kenpaves hair piece! Cool huh?”

Longoria has been wearing her hair up for most of her recent red carpet events. We think she looks good in a short cut but we’re guessing she won’t be getting rid of her sexy long locks any time soon.

Eva Longoria and NFL QB Mark Sanchez Split

That was quick! Actress Eva Longoria and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez have ended their four month relationship.

A rep for the former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star has confirmed that the actress, 37, and her NFL boyfriend, 25, are no longer a couple.

Sanchez told his pals that the split came just before Sunday’s big game against the New England Patriots. That game ended in a 29-26 loss for the Jets quarterback when he fumbled the ball in overtime, allowing New England to score a field goal.

Rumors suggest she called off their romance because he was seen flirting early Saturday morning with a blonde he met while party with pals at hotspot The Darby in NYC’s West Village.

Sanchez’s rep put a different spin on it with this comment, “It was really more about scheduling…they will remain close friends.”

Longoria ended her high profile marriage to NBA player Tony Parker at the end of 2010 after discovering hundreds of text messages from another woman on her husband’s phone.

Eva Longoria and George Lopez co-hosted the 2012 ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium Sunday night.

The gorgeous actress, who recently wrapped her long-running television series ‘Desperate Housewives,’ dazzled the audience with eleven costume changes throughout the evening.

Her most daring dress of the evening was a strapless creation that featured a velvet top and leg and booty revealing sheer skirt.

The Latin beauty remarked, “It’s really fun. Not only do we get to celebrate Latinos in television and in film, but in fashion as well.”

Among the evenings presenters were America Ferrera, Michael Pena, Nicole Richie and Zoe Saldana.

The taped event will air Friday night on NBC at 8 p.m. eastern.

While Eva was toiling in Tinseltown, her New York Jets QB boyfriend Mark Sanchez lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-10, at Heinz Field.

Amid speculation that they have been dating, Eva Longoria, 37, confirmed that she is indeed romantically involved with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, 25.

Appearing on Extra Thursday with host Mario Lopez, Longoria’s longtime pal asked her about the rumored relationship.

“You’re an a–hole,” the former Desperate Housewives star joked, adding, “No, Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy just dating.”

Longoria split from Eduardo Cruz — brother of Penelope Cruz, in June.

Sanchez has been romantically linked to Hayden Panettiere, Jamie-Lynn Sliger, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton.

Eva Longoria Tweets ‘Desperate Housewives’ Wrap PHOTOS

After an amazing eight seasons on the hit ABC show Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria and the rest of the cast gathered for a last group photo.

The actress tweeted, “It’s a wrap. End of an era! #desperatehousewives .”

It was an emotional final day on the set of the primetime soap as the actors exchanged hugs and shed tears.

Castmates include Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Ricardo Chavira, James Denton, Dana Delany and Vanessa Williams.

Filming is now complete for the finale episode that will air on May 13.

Eva posted another photo of her empty set dressing room, “Bye Bye trailer. All cleaned out and empty! Ready for another actor to move in.”
