Eva Mendes Controversial Calvin Klein Billboard Ads

Actress Eva Mendes is not one to shy away from over-the-top advertising and she proves that time and time again with her Calvin Klein billboards.

In the latest Calvin Klein campaign that some are calling “racy”, a giant billboard has been placed on an entire block of a trendy SoHo neighborhood. Some fear it is going to cause an accident.

Eva is all greased up and wearing see-through bra and panties. An equally greased up male model, also in the shot, is in his underwear….and oh yeah, she’s pulling on them. It’s pretty hot!

Last year Eva’s Calvin Klein ad ended up being banned in America for it’s obscene nature. Will this one have to be taken down as well? Time will tell.

Eva Mendes, after a recent stint in rehab, has teamed with Calvin Klein on their new fragrance ad campaign. The CK Secret Obsession commercial that Mendes shot is steamy enough that networks got edgy and decided to pass on the slightly erotic nip slip moment.

Calvin Klein is reportedly modifying the ad to make it more palatable for general viewing. Tim Murry, president and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc. told the New York Daily News:

“The commercial ad is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession. We are anticipating a very successful global launch.”

We Own the Night star Eva Mendes was seen leaving a West Hollywood liquor store yesterday with a large Barneys New York shopping bag. Let’s not jump to conclusions too soon.

This past January, Mendes sought help at a rehab facility in Utah for substance abuse and at the time her rep told TMZ:

“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva’s privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details.”

So here are some scenarios that we should take into consideration:

A. Eva was buying a gift for a friend.

B. Eva was having a get together and it’s booze for her guests.

C. The liquor store is a central spot for Barneys New York to drop off deliveries for their high end clients.

D. Eva is drinking again.

News has hit that Eva Mendes is the latest star to enter rehab. Mendes is said to be in Utah taking care of a substance abuse problem.

A rep for the actress said that she has been at Cirque Lodge for several weeks and that she has been working very hard this last year. Eva has decided to take as much time as she needs to deal with her personal issues.

This was one well kept secret. Good luck to Eva and we wish her the best.
