Jay-Z Weighs in on Kanye’s VMA Outburst

Unless you are living in a hole, you have already heard about rapper Kanye West taking the stage during the Taylor Swift acceptance speech at the VMA’s last week.

Not only did he take away from the young country singers big night but in turn embarrassed singer Beyonce when he boldly announced that it was Beyonce that should be standing up on stage accepting the award. Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z is now speaking out on the crazy night.

“I just think that is what he believed. I thought it was rude, I thought it was inappropriate and I told him as much. I think he was wrong. “

Is he holding a grudge against West? No. “The way they’re treating him…he’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed. (He’s just) a super passionate person.”

The fact is, Jay-Z may have dissed Kanye’s bad behavior, BUT he happens to agree with Kanye about Beyonce’s video being better than Swift’s. He admitted, “I don’t think he was wrong.”

So there you have it! Something tells me you wouldn’t want to be scolded by Jay-Z…we’re just saying.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Romantic Dinner Turns Ugly

Singer Beyonce and husband Jay-Z aren’t seen in public together very often and we are guessing it has something to do with the paparazzi. On Tuesday night the couple was trying to enjoy a romantic dinner together in Croatia and it didn’t turn out as they had intended.

After finishing their dinner at a restaurant on the Adriatic coast, where they are currently vacationing, all hell broke loose. A large group of photographers went a little overboard as the couple exited the eatery and the scene was soon out of control. The security team for the stars stepped in to back them off and a shoving match ensued.

One of the camera men went as far as to throw his tripod at the minders–who in turn threw it in the sea.

The couple escaped unharmed into a speed boat and while pulling away, Jay-Z reportedly gave the group a single finger salute.

Successful in every way, Beyonce has always kept her relationship with music mogel Jay-Z private. Now the singer has opened up in Seventeen magazine’s December/January issue and talks about love and success.

“I was 18 when we first met, 19 when we first started dating. There was no rush. I really don’t believe that you will love the same thing when you’re 20 as you do at 30. Before the age of 25, I would never get married, I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend time by yourself, and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else.”

Beyonce’s latest album I Am…Shasha Fierce will hit store shelves on November 17. After hearing her first song on the CD it sounds like Knowles has hit gold once again.

The singer cuts herself very little slack and obsesses over past video performances, always looking for ways to improve - forever on a quest to become a better singer.

“I don’t care if you’re picture perfect on every magazine cover, and you’re the most handsome, successful, coolest guy. You still get sad, and you still get your feelings hurt, and you still get confused and vulnerable and nervous and scared. You have to find a person you can make it through the tough times with.”

Knowles and Jay-Z were married on April 4th at the rappers Tribecca penthouse in Manhattan. The wedding was kept very hush, hush and we have yet to see photos of the affair other than a few pics of the famous guests that showed up for the big event.

Jamie Lynn Spears, 17 year old actress and new mother of one month old daughter Maddie, is living happily with her 19 year old boyfriend and baby daddy Casey Aldridge. The actress bought a home on three acres and the little family is said to be very happy with their new life in Liberty, Mississippi.

Spears new digs are only a 30 minute drive from her family home in Kentwood, Louisiana. Her sister Britney Spears owns Serenity estate, where Lynn Spears resides.

The teen, according to OK! magazine, is planning an intimate outdoor family wedding at her home later this Fall. She is not interested in the trappings of a mega celebrity affair and has opted to keep it private and in her own backyard. Britney will be her maid of honor and Casey’s sister Ashlee will be a bridesmaid.

Our friends over at Hollyscoop have confirmed that as speculated, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s rush to get married was because the beautiful singer is pregnant. The couple were married on April 4th in front of close friends and family.

Not only did a source close to the couple confirm to Hollyscoop that the singer was indeed pregnant, but also confided that their intimate group of wedding guests were all aware of the couple’s exciting baby news.

Don’t look for the couple to gush to the media about their exciting news anytime soon. They’ve never confirmed that they were dating much less married or starting a family together.

Congratulations to the couple!

Beyonce Knowles and longtime boyfriend Jay-Z, who’s real name is Sean Corey Carter, unexpectedly tied the knot in a small wedding ceremony in New York City last week.

So what was the reason for the seemingly spur-of-the-moment wedding? Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child, if this Star magazine cover and other reports can be believed.

Rumors have been flying all week that it was a shotgun wedding for the couple. Two sources are saying Beyonce is indeed pregnant. Considering the secrecy surrounding their nuptials, I don’t think we can expect an official announcement of a pregnancy any time soon.

Let the baby bump watch begin!

Beyonce Knowles, 26 and Jay-Z, 38 (Shawn Corey Carter) exchanged their wedding vows on Friday evening, April 4, 2008. The intimate ceremony took place in Manhattan at the fashionable Tribeca penthouse apartment of the rap mogul. The photo above might be what the pair looked like at the end of their wedding bash. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait for the real deal.

Speculation heightened earlier this week when the couple obtained a marriage license at the Village Hall in Scarsdale, New York. The document mandated that the nuptials take place within 60 days, which had the media speculating that 4 was a meaningful number for the couple who were born on the 4th day of their respective birth months, December 4 is Jay-Z’s birthday and September 4 is Beyonce’s. They were clever indeed because that is exactly what occurred.

Paparazzi and media spies staked out Jay-Z’s neighborhood early yesterday and reported every delivery and the coming and going of people. The guest list included the parents of the bride and groom, Beyonce’s sister Solange, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin (together! … hope there’s a photo of that), Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Beyonce’s minister flew in from Houston to perform the ceremony. He and his wife arrived shortly after 8:00pm EST.

We’ve got photos that were captured of the activity surrounding the event. A delivery of orchids and candelabra arrived midday. A tent was erected on the roof of Jay-Z’s penthouse apartment. In another shot, an overhead camera caught the groomsmen assembled on the roof. We’ve also included some formal shots of Beyonce and Jay-Z that give you a good idea of how the spiffed up couple might have appeared – until we can provide the real proof of the nups.

Unless we’re being punked – Beyonce(26) and long time boyfriend Jay-Z(38) were seen at the Scarsdale Village courthouse in Westchester yesterday, picking up their marriage license.

It was April Fools Day yesterday so we’re definitely not getting our hopes up on this union just yet.

The talented duo have been together since 2002 but have kept to themselves and tried to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

The laws in Westchester states that the license is good for 60 days – so time will tell. Beyonce would make a beautiful bride.

Jay-Z opened his new Las Vegas club, 40/40 in the new Palazzo hotel and casino on December 30, and Beyonce Knowles and her little sister Solange Knowles were on hand to glam up the gala affair. They graced the red carpet, making quite a striking vision. We’ve got all of the red carpet photos.

Jay-Z’s new business venture, with Juan Perez, is a $20 million, 24,000 square foot sports bar and lounge that features 85 plasma screen TV’s. The facility is the just opened extension of The Venetian and Sands Expo Complex.

The new digs feature 24kt gold and platinum floors, 5 exclusive VIP rooms. There are also 5 forty foot bi-level bars scattered throughout the space. This is Jay-Z’s third location of the famed bar. His New York City location, which opened in June 2003, is a hot spot for entertainment and sports celebrities. The name comes from the elite baseball club of members who have achieved 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in the same season. There are only 4 official members: Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Alfonso Soriano and Jose Canseco.
