Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy Engaged or NOT (PHOTOS)

Rumors are flying this morning that Ghost Whisperer co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy got engaged on Friday night. The comedic funnyman was performing at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California when he asked his lovely actress girlfriend to join him up on the stage.

JLH was happy to oblige. When she hit her mark a man from the audience shouted, “Marry Her”. Kennedy reportedly dropped right down onto one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She gave him a big grin and accepted. As you might well imagine, the crowd jumped to their feet and gave the newly engaged couple a big standing O.

We love this story but now word has surfaced that it may be one of those urban legends that never really happened, or worse yet, occurred but was a planned prank. No official confirmation from either of their rep’s has been forthcoming, so while we wait…..forgive us if we hang by the original storyline.

Ok, so now the real story has emerged thanks to Kennedy, who tweeted the following this morning, “There’s a lil rumor going round that i got down on one knee in Long beach. If i was gonna get down on one knee do u think i wud do it in the LBC???? I mean i’m down with Snoop but L Beach doesnt scream Romance. I luv my girl and wen it happens you’ll be the first to know.”

The actress called off her previous engagement to Scottish actor Ross McCall in January 2009.

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her new boyfriend Jamie Kennedy hit the red carpet at the 44th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night. They showed all the signs of new love, both smiling from ear to ear.

Hewitt was previously engaged to Ross McCall but the two ended their relationship in January. JLH and Kennedy co-star on the Ghost Whisperer series and have worked at keeping their relationship on the down-low until now. This was their first official appearance as a couple.

Kennedy seemed overjoyed about attending the event with Jennifer and had this to say, “I was excited to be her plus-one. I am Jennifer Love Hewitt’s plus-one.”

Recently Jamie was hospitalized for kidney stones but Jennifer nursed him back to health. Awwww, new love, isn’t it grand!

Jennifer Love Hewitt, the actress who announced her broken engagement to Ross McCall in January 2009, has apparently found new love on the Ghost Whisperer set.

The ‘other man’, and reason behind the breakup is co-star Jamie Kennedy. The pair have been an item on the down low for several months. Kennedy has denied the rumors until yesterday, when he declared on the Ryan Seacrest radio show that he is head over heels in love with JLH.

We’ve got new photos of the actress, taken in front of Hewitt’s Toluca Lake home, giving us a glimpse of her spanking new Bentley convertible.

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance Ross McCall have split. The couple broke off their engagement over Christmas and are living apart.

Love Hewitt, 29, announced her engagement to the 32 year old Scottish actor in November 2007. The couple had been involved in a two year relationship at that time.

First signs of trouble came in September 2008 when the actress was photographed sobbing as McCall packed luggage into the back of a vehicle outside her home. They were reunited a few days later but things continued to deteriorate from there.

On the heels of a controversy surrounding some unflattering bikini photos, it is being reported that Jennifer Love Hewitt is pregnant.

The “Ghost Whisperer” actress and her “Band of Brothers” fiancé Ross McCall, were in Hawaii to celebrate their engagement when photogs snapped some pictures of her in a bikini that had many speculating about a possible pregnancy.

Although Jennifer’s rep is denying the reports, an inside source says:

“Jennifer was shocked, but at the same time she was ecstatic with the news.

“It wasn’t planned, but now that it’s happened Jennifer and Ross are both very happy.”

The baby is reportedly due in June.

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is fighting back over these bikini photos taken of her while she was vacationing in Hawaii with fiancé Ross McCall. The unflattering photos, which have been splashed all over the internet, have caused a bit of controversy because of the derogatory comments that have been made about Love Hewitt’s derrière.

This is the last time I will address this subject.

I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.

A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful.

What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body.

To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong.

I admire Jennifer Love Hewitt’s appreciation for her body and I agree that a lot of young girls struggle with their body image. I will even go so far as to say that the media may have a hand in that. What I DO NOT appreciate is that she would have us believe that her rather large booty is a size 2! I am absolutely calling BS on that and if Jennifer wants to take me to task, then by all means girlfriend…bring it.
