Jane Carrey Pregnant: Jim Carrey Grandfather-To-Be (PHOTOS)

Jim Carrey has just found out that he will soon become a grandfather. His 21-year-old daughter Jane Erin Carrey is pregnant with her first child. The baby daddy is her fiance Alex Santana aka Nitro of the rock band Blood Money.

Jane is a musician with the Jane Carrey Band. Her mother, former actress Melissa Womer, was married to Carrey from 1987 to 1995.

Jim has been in a relationship with Jenny McCarthy since December 2005.

STORY UPDATE: Jane and Alex were married on November 14, 2009. The father-of-the-bride, Carrey ‘tweeted’ on Wednesday night, “My Jane is a married woman. Days ago her (sic) and my new son in law Alex got hitched. The day was simply perfect…lots of love there… ”.

The couple expect their baby in March 2010.

Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro have been tapped by director siblings, the Farrelly Brothers, to co-star in a movie based on comedy icons The Three Stooges. Don’t expect a biopic, but rather a refreshing new look at the antics of the zany trio.

Oscar winner Penn will play Larry Fine, while Carrey and Del Toro will play Curley and Moe Howard. Sean’s last comedy project was the 1989 film We’re No Angels.

Jenny McCarthy Fears For Son’s Life

Actress Jenny McCarthy was hit hard by the details of John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s recent tragedy. Jett Travolta passed away after having a seizure on January 2nd and for McCarthy that reality could have been hers as well.

A few years back Jenny’s son Evan also suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. The young child was said to be “clinically dead” for a few minutes but was brought back to life by paramedics.

“I too watched the paramedics do CPR on Evan, and I didn’t know if he was going to come back. We did get him back and then he suffered another seizure last year, when we had to put Evan in a coma for four days, so he wouldn’t go into cardiac arrest. So I live on that edge that they (Travolta and Preston) have lived with Jett for all those years.”

Jenny is very vocal in her fight to raise awareness for autism as well as her fight against childhood vaccinations. She and her boyfriend Jim Carrey have used their celebrity status to bring these issues to the forefront.

‘Yes Man’ Takes Top Honors at the Box Office, $18M (Trailer)

Jim Carrey beat out Will Smith for top honors at the box office this weekend. Yes Man came in first at $18 million in ticket sales. Seven Pounds was second with $16 million. The Matthew Broderick animated family movie The Tale of Despereaux was third with $10.5 million.

Yes Man, by Warner Bros., stars Carrey as a loser who turns his life around by saying yes to everything. Seven Pounds has Smith playing a mysterious IRS agent doing good deeds for strangers. The Tale of Despereaux features a heroic mouse with very big ears.

Pineapple Express Premiere Red Carpet and Movie Trailer

The Pineapple Express premiere was held at Mann’s Village Theater in West Hollywood last night. The red carpet photos captured an abundance of good looking celebrities out to support the film.

Funny man Jim Carrey and his gorgeous girlfriend Jenny McCarthy were on hand along with Mr. Bond himself Daniel Craig. Other notables included Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill, Rosie Perez, Amanda Heard.

Pineapple Express tells the story of two lazy drug dealers, Dale Denton and Saul Silver, who are on a quest to get their hands on some rare weed. During their hunt Dale witnesses a murder by a crocked cop and the baddest drug lord around. That’s when all hell breaks loose.

Britney Spears Surprise Charity Appearance

Britney Spears has had one heck of a year but her world finally seems to be coming full circle and she is doing great. On Saturday night Spears made a surprise appearance at a Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey event. The gathering was in support of their foundation charity, Generation Rescue, which focuses on autistic research.

The gala was sponsored by Star Queen Vodka at Jenny and Jim’s home in Brentwood, California. For entertainment the Dancing With the Stars dancers put on a show and of course Carrey took the stage and made sure the guests got a good laugh.

Other guests at the party included couples Charlie Sheen and new wife Brooke Mueller as well as Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan, who were seen kissing..a lot.

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey were strolling the beach in Malibu on the 4th of July. The lovely Jenny was sporting a sexy black swimsuit, the same style made famous by Borat but we must say she fills it out in ways that he couldn’t have managed under any circumstances. Jim Carrey is so smitten with her little black garment that he gets into the act – see bottom of this post.

McCarthy launched her career after posing for Playboy in 1993. She became a Playmate of the Month and later the Playmate of the Year. She moved to Los Angeles following that notoriety and landed an MTV hosting gig in 1995. McCarthy currently stars on the five part series In the Motherhood on MSN with Chelsea Handler and Leah Remini.

Jim Carrey has three films in the works for 2009 release: A Christmas Carol, I Love You Phillip Morris and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! His last film, Horton Hears a Who was a box office success, bringing in over $151 million. Whatever this man touches turns golden. Bruce Almighty, Fun with Dick and Jane, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Lemony Snicket are just a few of his other films that grossed between $110 million and $250 million.

The great looking couple live in the area and were photographed enjoying some sun time near their Malibu beach pad. The actors have been a serious couple since December 2005. Her six year old son Evan was diagnosed with autism three years ago and she has since become an activist and author on the subject. Her book, Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism discusses the need to eradicate toxins from vaccines. She and Carrey led a Washington D.C. march and rally in June to heighten awareness.

Cheryl Burke was a guest of the couple yesterday and she was captured wearing a pink striped conservative bikini. She made news earlier in the week when she exited a night club in what appeared to be a very inebriated state. The professional dancer is best known for her work on Dancing with the Stars.

She has partnered with winners Drew Lachey and Emmit Smith in the second and third seasons. She and partner Christian de la Fuente, who suffered a serious injury while dancing on the show, made it to the finals in season six, where they ended up in third place. McCarthy met Burke on the DWTS show last fall when she partnered with Derek Hough.

Jenny McCarthy is a Hero

Jenny McCarthy has put her star power to work. The actress and funny girl, whose 5 year old son Evan has autism, is a highly vocal advocate on the awareness of autism.

At a recent fundraiser in Pacific Palisades, Jenny McCarthy and her boyfriend Jim Carrey were in attendance. Jenny got honors from Dr. David Feinberg, chief executive officer of the UCLA Hospital System, who referred to the actress as “my hero”.

So impressed was Feinberg with McCarthy’s efforts, he said, that his son used her as a subject for a school paper on heroes. In researching his essay, the youngster was instructed by his father “to Google” McCarthy, whose resumé includes being a “Playboy” Playmate.

This got a laugh from the audience and a rise out of Carrey – who leapt to his feet, shot an “Ace Ventura” glower around the room and then fixed his eyes on Feinberg.

“What’s your son doing Googling my girlfriend?” Carrey demanded to know.

In a more serious moment, Carrey – whom McCarthy has described as a remarkably helping hands with her son – was called an “autism healer” by Feinberg. Carrey is also one of the sponsors of the treatment center.

Later, McCarthy spoke at the podium about Carrey’s daughter, Jane, 20. “For so long I have had psychics say they see me with a daughter,” she said. “I now know what they are talking about.

I love to see Hollywood putting there resources together and making a difference.
