Trace Cyrus Slams the Jonas Brothers Lifestyle

Who is Trace Cyrus? Miley Cyrus‘ half brother, that’s who. Vocalist for his band Metro Station, the tattooed rocker talks about his life style compared to that of the Jonas Brothers.

In an interview with Detail magazine Trace said, “I’m not trying to clean my image to make anyone happy. I could have gone the route of the Jonas Brothers. Those guys can’t live their lives freely. They have to put on an image that is totally fake.”

His lil’ sister once dated Nick Jonas. We wonder what the “bros” take on Trace’s statement will be. We’ll watch their Twitter page and keep an eye out for a rebuttal–which is sure to be forthcoming.

Trace is the son of Leticha “Tish” Finley Cyrus and Baxter Neal Helson. He was later adopted by his mother’s current husband, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

Trace has been previously linked to Disney celeb Demi Lovato. They ended their relationship in July due to “conflicting schedules.” We find it odd that Trace would bash any Disney stars, especially since that is where his sister found her fame and fortune.

Paul Kevin Jonas II, better know as Kevin Jonas and K2, is a 21 year old musician and actor who just got engaged to his 22-year-old girlfriend Danielle Deleasa on July 1, 2009. The couple met in May 2007 when their families were vacationing in the Bahamas. She admits, “I didn’t know who the Jonas Brothers were.”

As the story goes, he flew all night after appearing at a concert in Vancouver and showed up on the former hairdresser’s doorstep in New Jersey this morning. Kevin dropped to one knee for an old-fashioned proposal before slipping an engagement ring on Danielle’s finger that he had designed just for her. Her response was a resounding, “Yes!, Yes!, Yes!”.

The sparkler is a three-carat cushion-cut set in platinum above a double shank band with 210 round pave diamonds. The jeweler is Jacob & Son – see a photo of the amazing engagement ring.

Brothers Joe and Nick said on their Twitter page, “Congrats big brother…Dani welcome to the family, we can’t wait to have you join us on the road.”

The Jonas Brothers originally started with the solo singing career of Nick Jonas. When Joe and Kevin sang backup for him, Nick’s record producer liked their sound and signed all three of them. Kevin and his brothers are currently starring in their own Disney Channel Original Series called JONAS. View photos and video of the couple below.

Joe Jonas dances to Beyonce’s Single Ladies for the two week countdown to the Jonas Brothers 2009 album release.

Joe lip syncs (badly I might add, since he clearly doesn’t know the words to the song) and dances around in a black leotard.

The YouTube video says this is long-awaited and long-requested. Seriously?

The Jonas Brother’s new album, “Lines, Vines, and Trying Times,” comes out on June 16.

The ever so popular teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus loves all the boys! Well at least all three Jonas Brothers. Miley hit YouTube recently and expressed her love for the “Jo Bros”.

“I know you guys saw me, I was hanging out with the Jonas Brothers at the inaugural (concert). That was really good. And we are friends…I love the Jonas Brothers. I love Nicky, I do love him. I love Kevin. I love Joe. I love Frankie. I love all the boys.”

Taking the time to put an end to all the rumors about her feuding with the other Disney girls, Miley also said that there are no hard feeling toward Demi Lovato or Selina Gomez. Miley called Demi one of her “bestest” friends, saying she is always there for her and it just so happens that she was going to her “bestest” friend’s house for meatloaf that night.

Cyrus told everyone to back off because the feud is over and she has always been honest with her fans. We believe her – do you?

Kevin Jonas‘ girlfriend Danielle Deleasa has become the envy of teenage girls everywhere as photos of her passionate kiss with the eldest Jonas brother have made their way onto the internet.

Danielle grew up next door to Kevin in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and the two have been secretly dating for months. They were first spotted in Yorkville in July, when speculation began that the two were more than just friends. (View video below)

Yesterday the couple was photographed as they shared a very public display of affection while walking along Point Mugu in California. Taking cues from other young celebs, Jonas also snapped a pic of the kiss himself, perhaps to “leak” onto his Myspace later?

The Jonas Brothers have purchased a $2,895,000 home in Westlake, TX, a suburb of Dallas. Acting as power of attorney, their mother, Denise Jonas, closed on the house June 12.

Located in the upscale gated community of Vaquero Club, the 7360 square foot home overlooks the 6th and 7th fairways of the Tom Fazio designed golf course.

The youngest, Nick, was born in Dallas, but grew up with his brothers in New Jersey. The boys currently reside in Los Angeles.

I’m betting not even the 24-hour manned security gate and 6 foot high stone walls surrounding the community are going to deter determined teenage girls hoping to catch a glimpse of teen idols Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, lying by their swimming pool. And the rate of sleepovers in the homes of the girls living in the neighborhood are bound to skyrocket.

The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour and their third album hits stores on August 12.
