Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s Wedding Invitation Photos

The stars sure do things differently when it comes to weddings. Last weekend singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel were married at the Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu. If you were one of the lucky 375 guests in attendance you didn’t receive your actual invitation until after the ceremony.

The caracature-like invites were created by Lehr & Black and were said to be a “a reflection of both personalities.” Josh is said to be a nature boy while his new bride has a love for unicorns and bling. So, in the creation you can find hidden unicorns and crystals galore.

Giving out your invitation after the ceremony is evidently a common practice for high profile celebrities. Presenting it to the guests as a gift allows the couple to keep the details quiet and out of the hands of the press, thus avoiding the media circus.

Under the magnolia trees at the Church Estate Vineyards in Malibu, Black Eyed Peas singer Stacey Ferguson aka Fergie married actor Josh Duhamel on Saturday night, January 10, 2009.

Fergie was dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana gown and carried a bouquet of white flowers that were adorned with crystals. The magnolia trees overhead were filled with thousands of white roses according to People magazine. A reception was held in large white tents on the vineyard grounds – see video below.

The 8,000 square foot chateau resembles a Monet landscape and is surrounded by nine acres of gardens and vineyards planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. See photo below.

The ceremony was attended by 375 guests, including Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O’Connell, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock, Slash, Kate Hudson, her bandmates, Duhamel’s Las Vegas co-stars James Caan, Molly Sims and Vanessa Marcil.

Josh’s family flew in from North Dakota for the big events, which included a joint bachelor-bachelorette party at Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica on Wednesday night, and a Hawaiian themed rehearsal dinner on Friday evening.

Lucky New Years Eve party-goers were in for a treat if they happened to be in Las Vegas and ringing in the 2009 at the Venetian. Singer Fergie was on hand to entertain the crowd. Doesn’t seem like Fergie is taking much time to herself these days, especially with her wedding date nearing.

On January 10th she and gorgeous actor Josh Duhamel will finally tie the knot and she has been working her tail off to make sure that she will look great in her gown. Admitting it has been hard since she just had to pack on the pounds for her upcoming role in the movie Nine.

In her quest to try to maintain and stay healthy, her routine consists of hiking and doing sit-ups. Fergie admits that she doesn’t miss a day of working out.

Guests at the Venetian got to see Fergie and Josh show a little affection as the clock struck midnight. They were seen smooching on the clubs catwalk and later in the VIP area cuddled up, drinking some champagne before heading out at 1:00 a.m.

Since the announcement of their engagement, Fergie and Josh Duhamel have been under close scrutiny for a baby bump. The rumor mill is swirling again about Fergie and Josh having a baby on the way.

The couple were seen at Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy bash at the Beverly Hilton and word is, they were talking about moving their wedding date up so that no baby bumps were showing at the ceremony. Not only that, but Fergie was said that have purchased her wedding dress while in New York during Fashion Week.

Hit singer Fergie became engaged to hot actor Josh Duhamel in December. Speculation now is that they are expecting a baby and it sounds to me like it is for good reason.

Baby gifts that were given by Mayor Goodman to Josh Duhamel at the 100th episode of Josh’s hit show Las Vegas, have really fueled the rumors. I don’t have specifics on the other baby gifts but I hear that this was not the first instance of baby gifts being given to the newly engaged couple.

Well, if this is true, good luck to the couple and may your baby look just like it’s daddy.

Josh Duhamel, 35, has announced his engagement to Black Eyed Peas pop star Fergie, 32. The actor plays the role of Danny McCoy on NBC show Las Vegas.

Duhamel first achieved success in the role of Leo du Pres in All My Children. He won a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2002.

Duhamel and Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, have been dating for three years and have recently bought a home together.

Fergie’s hit song Big Girls Don’t Cry from her solo album The Dutchess, has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Female Pop category.
