Justin Chamber, who plays Dr. Alex Karev on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, checked into the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center on Monday. Chamber’s rep said that he checked out yesterday.

The actor reportedly has a sleeping disorder and has taken it upon himself to get the help he needs. This is the same medical center where Britney Spears is currently undergoing medical treatment after a severe manic episode.

The 37 year old began his career as a Calvin Klein fashion model. He joined the cast on the ABC evening drama Grey’s Anatomy in 2005. He and his wife Keisha have five children and recently relocated to Los Angeles from their home in New York City.
