We’ve discovered yet another reason why Justin Timberlake is the coolest entertainer around!  Twenty of JT’s  biggest fans got a huge surprise when he showed up on the set of a commercial being taped to promote his new album, ‘The 20/20.’

Seriously, how exciting!  The entertainer was hanging out in the back while his fans took turns singing lyrics for his new song, ‘Mirrors.’

Justin Timberlake Mirrors

When the time came for Justin to reveal himself to the unsuspecting fans, the reactions were great. Some cried, while others laughed, swore and stood in amazement as their idol entered the room.

This week Justin tweeted, “Whoa… Speechless. Shocked. Numbers go up, numbers go down. I just hope this album makes your Summer… You already made mine #bestfansever”

Timberlake wrote his latest album with a specific goal in mind, “I want people to close their eyes and listen to this album. I really do think my effort with the last album was to make people dance, and I think with this album, I wrote a lot of songs that make me want to sing … and dance.”

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake‘s much-anticipated ‘History of Rap 4′ video debuted during Friday’s ‘Late Night‘ show.

JT wrapped his week-long guest stint with the latest installment of the popular rap mash-up, this time spanning 1981-2013

As is their normal custom, Justin grudgingly agreed, “OK, but this is the last time.” Jimmy responded, “Until the next time we do this.”

There were 26 different tunes during the six and a half minute rendition that brought the enthusiastic  audience to their feet to dance and sing along with the duo.

Songs included Jay-Z’s ‘Izzo,’ The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Hypnotize,’ Eminem‘s  ‘Lose Yourself,’ and the essential rap classic from 2 Live Crew, ‘Me So Horny.’

You can be certain of one thing … this is NOT the last installment of ‘History of Rap.’  The wait begins yet again.

Justin Timberlake Suit and Tie

The wait is over!  Justin Timberlake released the audio for his much-anticipated ‘Suit and Tie’  last night on his website.  The song features rapper Jay Z.

Not only did JT post ‘Suit and Tie’ but he also wrote an open letter to his fans.

“So, here goes:

This year is an exciting one for me. As you probably have heard through the “grapevine,” I’m gearing up for a big 2013.

Back in June of last year, I quietly started working on what is now, my next journey with that thing I love called MUSIC.

The inspiration for this really came out of the blue and to be honest, I didn’t expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I’ve had in my career… Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process.

What I came up with is something I couldn’t be more excited about! It is full of inspiration that I grew up listening to and some new found muses that I’ve discovered along the way.

I’m calling it “The 20/20 Experience,” and it’s coming out this year.

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.

That’s all I’m giving you for now… I know, I know! Again, with the teasing!!!

Get ready. This is going to be fun (well, at least it is for me).”

Listen the his new song and let us know what you think:

YES, YES, YES!  Justin Timberlake is finally working on some new songs after a seven year break following the 2006 release of ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds.’

The singer-actor tweeted, “To whom it may concern . . . I think I’m READY!”

He added a link to a YouTube video that shows him walking through a series of doors on his way into a recording studio.  As he makes his way through the maze he explains his rather long hiatus from releasing new music.

The soft spoken entertainer says, “Someone asked me the other day . . . ‘So are you just done with music?’  It means more to me than anybody else in the world.  I’ve only done two albums in the past decade.  What does the next decade mean to me?”

He ends the clip by answering his own question, “I don’t want to put anything out that I feel like is anything I don’t love.  You just don’t get that every day.  You have to wait for it … I’m ready.”

This was just a teaser with more information coming on January 14th.  Developing story…

A video shown at Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel‘s lavish Italian wedding, featuring homeless people in Los Angeles, is creating controversy.

The more than eight minute video, shot by Timberlake’s friend Justin Huchel – a Los Angeles real estate agent, was shown to guests at the reported $6.5 million wedding.

The video was obtained by Gawker, who published a 20-second clip, which has since been removed after receiving several letters from Huchel’s attorney threatening legal action.

“Greetings from your Hollywood friends who just couldn’t make it,” reads the opening title before the video launches into interviews with ten people on the streets of Los Angeles, including vagrants, street musicians and transexuals wishing the newlyweds well.

“Justin and Jessica, I haven’t seen you for a long time,” one toothless man tells the camera. “I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail.”

After commentary from an apparently transexual man, Timberlake’s “SexyBack” is played in the background.

Other people in the video appear to be intoxicated, mentally ill, or both, and according to Gawker writer John Cook, one of them is entirely incapable of speaking.

In a stern letter from Huchel’s attorney, Gawker is instructed to remove and destroy all copies of the video, saying, “Mr. Huchel made a video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake’s wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake’s knowledge.”

Not surprisingly, no one is laughing.

TMZ found one of the homeless men, “Eddie,”  who appeared in the video. Eddie says he was paid $40 to appear in the video, but had no idea it was a joke or that it was for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

See video below.
