Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge received a warm welcome from the crowd during her visit to Naomi House Children’s Hospice in Hampshire on Monday, April 29.

The charity, opened by Prince Charles in 1997, supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families.  It provides music therapy, computer space, art and play areas as well as multi-sensory and hydrotherapy suites.

Her Royal Highness, aka Kate Middleton, looked lovely in a peach-hued Tara Jarmon cotton twill coat worn open over a dress in a paler shade.

The day marked her second wedding anniversary that is being spend away from Prince William, who is on duty as a helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force.

The mother-to-be taped a special PSA video a few days ago at Clarence House to bring awareness to Children’s Hospice Week.  Check it out below:

Duchess Catherine aka Kate Middleton nearly fell during the St. Patrick’s Day military parade at the Aldershot Barracks Sunday when her stiletto heel got stuck in a drain grate.

Her Royal Highness, 31, was dressed in a green Emilia Wickstead dress coat that she has previously worn prior to her pregnancy.  She paired it with a stylist black hat and Emmy pumps that she accessorized with the Queen Mother’s gold shamrock brooch.

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, held his pregnant wife’s hand and smiled as she bent down to pry her shoe out of the grate and put it back on her foot.

The couple are expecting their first child in July and have been decidedly guarded when asked about the gender of their unborn child.

One military man was guilty of a kiss and tell conversation he shared earlier today with the mother-to-be.

Guardsman Lee Wheeler asked Kate about the couple’s individual preferences.  He revealed, “I was talking to her about the baby, of course.  I asked her, ‘Do you know if it’s a girl or boy?’, and she said, ‘Not yet.’  She said, ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl’.  That’s always the way.”

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton may have accidentally revealed the gender of her unborn child.

During a visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge was given a white teddy bear by a local, Diane Burton.  Kate’s response was “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d—.”  She quickly ended her sentence.

Questioned by the crowd on the fact that she was going to say “daughter” — Middleton replied, “We’re not telling.”

Reporters pushed the question further but the wife of Prince William wouldn’t admit that they know the sex of their child.  One reporter said, “Oh, I think you do,” and Kate insisted sweetly, “We’re not telling.”

According to Us Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did find out the baby’s gender and have only told their parents.

Queen Elizabeth II recently declared that if William and Kate are blessed with a girl she will be called Princess and referred to as Her Royal Highness.

Queen, William and Kate

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has issued a formal decree that will benefit the future children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

In a change to the century-old decree made by George V in 1917, all offspring born to Prince William and Duchess Kate will receive the title Prince or Princess.

Under the old degree, only the couple’s first born son would have been a Prince.  Female children would have received the title Lady, and would not have been afforded “Her Royal Highness” distinction.

The reigning monarch, 86, reportedly made the decision to create a revised decree on New Year’s Eve that will affect the royal status of her great-grandchildren born to the future King of England.

The London Gazette posted, “The Queen has been pleased by Letters Patent-under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 31 December 2012 to declare that all the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales should have and enjoy the style, title and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honour.”

Another proposed change in the works will remove gender discrimination in the line of succession, allowing a first-born child to ascend to the throne regardless of gender.

Prince William and his wife Catherine, aka Kate Middleton, posed for photographers as they departed King Edward VII Hospital Thursday.

The Duchess was hospitalized Monday for treatment of acute morning sickness as news of her pregnancy was hurriedly posted on the Royal couple’s website.

Kate’s sudden medical emergency led to a decidedly early sharing of her condition, a secret they had planned to reveal privately to family members at Christmas.

The mother-to-be emerged from the medical facility clutching a bouquet of yellow flowers that were presented to her by the staff.

William and Kate returned to Kensington Palace where she will reportedly rest before resuming her schedule.
