Kate Moss Has Never Been Anorexic (Photos)

After many years of being accused of being anorexic, supermodel Kate Moss is speaking out about her weight in an interview with Interview magazine.

The 34 year old has a daughter, Lila Grace, who’s father is film editor Jefferson Hack. Kate admits that during the course of her modeling years, she was too thin and had this to say:

“I was never anorexic, so I was never that skinny. I was never bony-bony. But I remember thinking I don’t want to be this skinny.”

Moss claimed that the reason she was so thin is because while she was traveling nobody ever fed her and that she stayed in cheap hotels that did not provide room service. Between running from shoot to shoot there just didn’t seem to be any time. She said that when you are modeling for a show there is never any food provided – likely for fear the models might begin to look like regular people.

Kate has also had her share of issues with drugs and alcohol – which could certainly lead to a frail appearance? The Calvin Klein ads definitely make Moss look bony-bony, to use the supermodel’s own words. We’re just saying…

Kate Moss is one of Topshop’s premiere supermodels. The Kate Moss Collection was first introduced by the clothier in May 2007. Topshop has stores all over the globe but they consider the soon to be opened Topshop New York City their first flagship store outside the UK.

Topshop New York City will open its doors in October 2008. They have a website up and running, touting their Fall 2008 collection. A larger than life photograph heralding the grand opening graces the side of a Manhattan building.

Moss is not the first to have her image splashed so prominently for all to see. Check out the link to Jennifer Aniston’s larger than life ad in West Hollywood – covering a 12 story structure. PETA also used a billboard to diss KFC recently.

Kate Moss graces the cover of the August issue of Vogue magazine, U.S. edition. The British supermodel looks very regal and elegant in this photo shoot – so unlike her normally edgy hip look.

In The AGE(LESS) issue, Kate Moss and seven other unforgettable women are featured in a spread that shows them looking amazing at every decade. The model is 34.

Kate talks about her party girl lifestyle, her daughter and becoming a designer. When asked about being a partier, she said:

“I am still acting like a seventeen-year-old. I definitely haven’t become middle aged. I’ve got a house and a daughter and all that, but I still like to have fun. Even in my business we still have fun.”

On the subject of motherhood, she shared:

“I’m a mum. All the time. Everyday. I put my daughter to bed.”

Kate Moss looked like a mess at the end of the launch party for her new fragrance “Velvet Hour” at the Watergate Club.

On the way back to her hotel, the model started shedding her hair. Seems a little embarrassing if you ask me. Didn’t anyone tell her not to drink the perfume?

Kate Moss is the new front woman for Agent Provocateur lingerie. The sexy model had a falling out with co owner Serena Rees over a year ago and lost her contract with the brand. All is apparently well now as is evidenced by the new photo shoot.

“I jumped at the chance to work with Mike Figgis for Agent Provocateur,” Moss said. “It’s the only lingerie I wear.”Moss shot the spread early last week before flying to Los Angeles with her five year old daughter Lila Grace. The model is said to be engaged to boyfriend Jamie Hince.

Out-of-control model Kate Moss now has one more reason to drown her sorrows. Kate’s long-time assistant Fiona Young has put in her notice and will be done at the end of the month. This is Kate’s second employee to quit within a few months.

In December, Jade Davidson, the nanny for Moss’ daughter Lila, resigned. Now her trusted assistant is leaving to have a baby of her own and may not be returning.

Friends of Moss are worried that her life could spin out of control now that Fiona is moving on. Hello….where have her friends been the last few years? Spin out of control – I am dizzy just thinking about the crazy partying ways of Kate. So much blame was put on rocker Pete Doherty when the two were a couple. Since the split I have not seen much change in Kate lifestyle other than not seeing Kate hanging by her ankles out of a window.

Can you imagine the book either one of these ex-employees could write? Surely they have signed confidentiality agreements before they were employed. That would be one tell all book that I would love to read.

Kelly Osbourne had me fooled into thinking she was on the straight and narrow. In recent months she has been by Amy Winehouse’s side in what I imagined was a ploy to get her to stay clean. There were even talks of Amy moving into the guesthouse at the Osbourne’s London estate. Last night Kelly and the other party queen Kate Moss did it up royally at Punk nightclub, in Soho.

Onlookers said the two plus Kate’s boyfriend Kills frontman Jamie Hince left the club at 3am and after playing it up for the camera’s, they needed a little help getting into the waiting car.

The party didn’t stop there but merely moved on to Kelly’s North London place where they continued. Check out the many faces of Kelly after the jump.

Kate Moss is one of the highest paid models in the world. She seems to be really getting back into her stride after battling drug addiction. Yves Saint Laurent is unveiling their 2008 Spring Collection and the supermodel is a big part of the new ad campaign.

We’ve got photos showing Moss literally on the outside looking in. The photos show her on the wrong side of the glass, suggesting that she is locked out of the historic Pierre Berge-Yves Laurent Foundation in Paris. Her face is partially obscured by the writing on the store window – which seems a real shame but that’s art expression apparently.

Kate recently did a Marilyn Monroe photo shoot that shows the supermodel looking very glamorous and quite stunning in her depiction of the late blonde bombshell.

Kate Moss has had her ups and down over the past year and her newly haggard face has betrayed her hard partying and drug addiction. She has cleaned up her act and is apparently headed in the right direction. Daily Mail featured some awesome photos from the new ad campaign she shot for Longchamp and Moss absolutely stunning.

Everyone has gotten into the Marilyn Monroe portrayal lately. We’ve seen gorgeous photos of Nicole Kidman in Harper’s Bazaar, a titillating depiction by Lindsay Lohan in New York Magazine and now Kate Moss has joined the ranks of beautiful women who are trying their hand at channeling Marilyn.

Supermodel Kate Moss rang in the New Year at a bar with her 5 year old daughter Lila-Grace and her boyfriend Jamie Hince.

Sources say that when Kate wasn’t able to find a babysitter for her daughter on New Years Eve, she and the boyfriend packed up and headed to Amanpuri Resort in Phuket, Thailand.

I guess in Thailand it is okay to bring your child to a bar with you and party past midnight. But don’t worry because onlookers said that even though she was drinking and dancing, she was being a good mommy and paying ample attention to her child.

In the U.S., someone would be calling Social Services.
