Katie Couric and daughters 'Got Milk'

Katie Couric and her daughters Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17, are the latest celebrities to participate in the ‘Got Milk?’ campaign.

The girls bookend their talk show host mother as she enjoys breakfast in bed while rocking blue silk pajamas–with the trio sporting the requisite white mustache.

On Friday, Couric will unveil the Mother’s Day inspired ‘Breakfast Project’ on her show ‘Katie.’

The former TODAY co-host turned down an offer to appear in a ‘Got Milk?’ campaign with her children when they were younger because she didn’t feel like the time was right but has since had a change of heart.

Katie explained, “They’re older.  I’m really proud of them.  I think they’ve turned into exemplary young women.  I thought this would be something fun.  The girls got to have their hair done and makeup.  We also got to each give money to a charity of our choice.”

Another reason Katie opted to participate was because she struggled with bulimia in college and she cares about “healthy eating and healthy body image.  There’s so much external pressure to have a certain body type.”

Regarding the mustache, Couric revealed that it is an art form and requires “a whole procedure” to get it right.  She admits the concoction tastes like liquid cheesecake.

Clive Davis Comes Out to Katie Couric

Music industry executive Clive Davis revealed during an interview with Katie Couric that after a failed marriage in the 80′s he discovered that he was bisexual.

Why would an 80-year-old business mogul speak out now?  The music veteran has a book that is set to launch today.  ‘The Soundtrack of My Life,’ released by Simon & Schuster will cover his five decades in the business with shared snippets of a decidedly personal nature.

Davis revealed that after the breakup of his marriage, “I opened myself up to the possibility that I could have a relationship with a man as well as the two that I had with a woman.  I’m also attracted to women.  You don’t have to be only one thing or another.  For me, it’s the person.”

The father of four told Couric that he is currently “in a monogamous relationship.”

You can catch the entire interview Tuesday, Feb 19, on the ABC syndicated talk show ‘Katie.’

Katie Couric had a HOT date with Larry King

During a guest appearance last night on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,’ Katie Couric dished about her date 25 years ago with Larry King and one she passed up with Michael Jackson.

The host of the ABC talk show ‘Katie’ was 30 and living in Washington D.C. when she agreed to go out to dinner with the iconic television interviewer who was 23 years her senior.

He drove up to her apartment in a Lincoln Town Car and took her to an Italian restaurant on K Street.  Things progressed well until he decided to take her back to his place afterward.

She was not feeling the same level of interest and joked in mock horror, “What can I say, he lunged.  I started laughing a little because the whole situation was like out of a bad Lifetime movie.”

Couric tried to cut his sexual tension, “I said ‘Larry, you’re such an interesting, nice man, but I would like to meet someone a little closer to my age.’  He said, ‘That’s okay cause when I like, I really like.’”

We’ve also included her recollection of a lunch meeting with the late Michael Jackson that was followed the next morning by a call from one of his associates inquiring about her dating status.   She told the handler that she was in a relationship but now wishes she had agreed to go out on a date.

LeAnn Rimes sat down for an exclusive two-part interview that will air partially Thursday on ‘Katie’ and in full on Friday during ‘All Access Nashville,’ a special edition of ’20/20.’

Following her 30 day rehab stint for stress and anxiety, LeAnn seemed a bit fragile as she talked about turning 30 and her personal struggles.

Katie got right to the heart of the matter, “The way you and Eddie Cibrian got together…you were married at the time, he was married at the time. And there were a lot of people out there who were not exactly wishing you well.”

LeAnn replied, “I wasn’t sure if I was wishing myself well at the time.  It was very, very difficult. Um…I wouldn’t wish it on anyone…especially in the public eye to go through all of it.”

“I made my choices, you know? I made my choices and I’m living with them. And I also have learned from them and I’ve talked about this so much. But I know that…I’m not the only person that goes through this. There’s so many that do. And there’s so much on the new album that I do share.”

Part one of the interview airs this afternoon on ‘Katie’ followed by the complete interview Friday on ABC at 9 p.m.

In an interview with Demi Lovato, Katie Couric reveals she struggled with bulimia between the ages of 18 and 24.

“I wrestled with bulimia all through college and for two years after that,” Couric confesses on her daytime talk show, Katie. “And I know this rigidity, this feeling that if you eat one thing that’s wrong, you’re full of self-loathing and then you punish yourself, whether it’s one cookie or a stick of gum that isn’t sugarless, that I would sometimes beat myself up for that.”

“How do you have a healthy relationship with food, and say, “You know what, I can have one cookie and it’s OK?” That is such a huge thing for people who wrestle with this,” says Couric, 55.

With the help of a therapist, Couric was able to beat the eating disorder and has maintained a healthy lifestyle.

Lovato, 20, opens up about her own struggles with eating disorders and cutting which led to her seeking treatment for “emotional and physical issues” in 2010.
