Katie Holmes Shows Her Black Bra at Hollywood Tribute (PHOTOS)

Katie Holmes attended the 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute sponsored by ELLE at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night and revealed a little more than she may have intended. She arrived solo because hubby Tom Cruise is currently filming in Boston.

Holmes hit the red carpet wearing a sheer black top over an Alaia skirt. Her shirt choice clearly showcased her black bra beneath the see-through fabric. See more red carpet photos here.

Katie Holmes: So You Think You Can Dance (VIDEO)

Katie Holmes performed a song and dance routine to the Judy Garland tune Get Happy on the 100th episode of the hit reality show So You Think You Can Dance Thursday night, July 23.

The 30-year-old actress wore a black tuxedo jacket and bikini bottom over dark stockings and stiletto heels, showing a little midriff during her energetic Broadway style dance routine.

Katie Holmes Will Perform on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ (PHOTOS)

Celebrating their 100th episode, FOX network show So You Think You Can Dance is pulling out all of the stops. Katie Holmes will take the stage and perform a song and dance tribute to Judy Garland, wearing the signature jacket and little hat that are iconic symbols of the late singer.

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said that Katie and her daughter Suri love dancing and having been visiting the show’s rehearsals many times in the past.

The production is inspired by Garland’s song Get Happy from the 1950’s musical Summer Stock. Husband Tom Cruise has been on the set watching Kate and is reportedly “wowed” by his talented wife.

You can catch Katie in her dancing shoes on Thursday, July 23 at 9:00 p.m. eastern.

Katie Holmes in Washington D.C. to Honor Veterans

Actress Katie Holmes will be spending her Memorial Day in Washington D.C. honoring our U.S. war veterans. Kate and her All My Sons co-star Dianne Wiest will pay tribute to Jose Pequeño, a staff sergeant who was severely injured while on a tour of duty in Iraq.

Many other celebrities are teaming up with PBS for their 20th annual National Memorial Day Concert, including Laurence Fishbourne, Gary Sinise, Joe Mantegna and singer Katharine McPhee.

Dianne and Katie will portray Pequeno’s mother Nellis Bagley and his sister Elizabeth in sharing his story and recollections of the family’s memories. Katie has been rehearsing in Washington at the Capitol grounds over the weekend.

The tribute is intended to be an emotional, yet heart warming reading that will resonate with veterans and their families who are able to witness the event or watch the telecast.

You can catch the tribute on PBS on May 24th, at 8 p.m. EST.

Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, spent some time at the American Girl Place in Los Angeles yesterday.

The mini-celeb will be 3 years old on April 18. She was photographed with Katie, going into and later coming out of the trendy kid boutique. She was escorted in with her hair down, wearing a pair of summer sandals and dragging her famous security blanket.

As we all know, shopping can be exhausting. At the end of Suri’s retail adventure, she emerged barefoot, wrapped in her blanket, and sporting a messy swept back hairdo. Most interesting of all was the sight of the tot chewing on her flip flop.

Katie Holmes $43,000 Makeover

Last week we posted photos of Katie Holmes sporting hair extensions on the red carpet in Tokyo, for the Japanese premiere of husband Tom Cruise’s film Valkyrie. It is now being reported that Katie’s hair extensions were just the tip of the iceberg in her transformation.

According to UK’s Daily Mail, Holmes’ new look cost a whopping $43,000, and took more than 48 hours to complete.

In addition to the hair extensions, which reportedly cost $2,983, Katie also received “intensive pampering sessions by a team of beauty experts” at the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo, which included spa treatments with a price tag of $10,123, tooth veneers coming in at $28,921, and makeup at a paltry $1446.

Despite the fact that the hair extensions took over 6 hours to put in, Holmes was seen in Los Angeles just one week later with her regular short hairstyle.

Eva Longoria, who also likes to change things up a bit with her appearance, was spotted leaving Ken Pave’s Hollywood salon with her own set of extensions yesterday. Check those photos out here.

Katie Holmes looks super sexy with her new hair extensions. The actress was walking the red carpet with hubby Tom Cruise in Tokyo yesterday, for the Japanese premiere of his move Valkyrie.

We’re become accustomed to Kate’s shorter hairdo but we think she looks younger with the longer tresses. The actress just wrapped up shooting her latest movie The Extra Man in New York City. She also graces the cover of Glamour magazine’s April 2009 issue.

Another actress sporting a different look is Angelina Jolie. Check out her long blonde hair here.

Katie Holmes is working on a new movie project in New York City. The actress is filming The Extra Man with co-star Kevin Kline, and was shooting a scene outside of the Russian Tea Room with actor Alex Burns yesterday.

The project slated for 2010 release, tells the story of a man who escorts wealthy widows in New York’s Upper East Side and takes a young aspiring playwright under his wing.

Katie Holmes graces the cover of Glamour magazine’s April 2009 issue. She also put to rest, at least for now, the rumors that she is pregnant with her second child. She responded, “Well I’m not pregnant right now.”

Asked about her role models, she named Julia Roberts and Audrey Hepburn. She went on to add Kate Winslet, Renee Zellweger, Cate Blanchett and Diane Keaton, who she considers a genius. Full interview here.

One of Hollywood’s hottest couples may just be expecting another child. Tom Cruise and his lovely wife Katie Holmes have both been glowing lately and speculation is running wild that she is pregnant.

The lovebirds were seen at the Ivy restaurant on January 21st. Tom was photographed with his hand placed on his wife’s tummy and they were looking into each others eyes like two kids in love.

Katie’s rep is denying the pregnancy but time will tell. Their friends say that if the actress is not already pregnant she will be soon.

We wonder how little Suri will feel about having another sister or brother. Connor and Bella are older so they probably give her all the attention she wants, but if another baby comes into the picture that could change. We doubt it!!
