Sam Lutfi: Restraining Orders, Lawsuits and Losing His Home

Sam Lutfi, self proclaimed former “manager” of Britney Spears, has filed a lawsuit against the singer and her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears. The reason? He claims defamation, breach of verbal contract and battery.

This comes a few days after Jamie Spears slapped a restraining order on Lutfi for continuing to contact Britney via cell phone.

It looks like Lutfi has some problems of his own. A lien was placed on his home last April stating that he was behind in his payments and by November the amount was $18,507. Sam has until February 10 to pay up on his condo or it will be foreclosed. Add to that the fact that Discover card has also filed a claim against Lutfi to recoup $7966 in unpaid charges.

The legal team for the Spears family should have no trouble squashing Lutfi’s claims. Most people are of the enlightened opinion that Lutfi is a snake and directly aided in the downfall of Britney.

Jamie Spears has demonstrated to the court that his conservatorship of Britney’s personal and business dealings was the right move. His daughter’s condition has stabilized, she has regained shared custody of her sons and her career is on track once again.

Book Review: Lynne Spears ‘Through the Storm’

Having just finished reading my copy of Lynne Spears book Through the Storm, it must be said that it was very well written and provides a new view of Britney Spears and her family, oh and that slime ball Sam Lutfi.

For starters, Britney’s father Jamie Spears is an alcoholic and was in and out of his family’s life during his binge years. Lynne did her best to keep her family together and was blessed with a tight knit group of friends and family who would help her get through the ups and downs of show business and her failed marriage.

This heartwarming book gives us a good look into the shady world of stardom and one parent’s struggle to keep her children safe from a world full of sharks. Finding it impossible at times to take what life threw at the Spears family, Lynne’s faith seemed to get her through and continues to keep her positive now. Brit’s mom said that never knowing what each day would bring or who to trust were her most challenging issues.

We highly recommend reading Through the Storm. The chapter on Sam Lutfi was unbelievable and will make you furious. In my mind his actions were no better than a killer. Thankfully his manipulative ways backfired on the power hungry villain.

One interesting item of note was Lynne’s comment that Justin Timberlake and Britney are reuniting and will be doing a song together for one of their new albums. I can’t wait. My prediction is that it will be a #1 hit.

Lynne Spears Parenting Book ON HOLD

Lynne Spears has had several shocks to her system lately and for once it has nothing to do with daughter Britney Spears. This time it’s sweet sixteen year old Jamie Lynn Spears, who has causes an avalanche of media hype with the revelation that she is pregnant by Casey Aldridge.

The kicker is that inspirational publisher Thomas Nelson has tabled her parenting book which was scheduled for release in 2008. We can’t imagine what they were thinking when they agreed to handle her book in the first place. Inspirational for whom?

Talk about kicking a woman when she’s down. She claims to be in total shock. I’m sure she has clung to her younger daughter as the model child. Most kids would appear to be that if held up next to the example of Britney. We can’t help but wonder if Britney is secretly happy to have some of the spotlight on someone else in her family for just a little while.

Hopefully Jamie Lynn will know enough not to take any parenting tips from big sis. We better not go there now – there will be plenty of time later.

OK! magazine says they have confirmed that Lynne Spears will write a tell-all autobiography that will come out in the spring of 2008.

Lynne Spears is going to write about the ups and downs of raising superstar children. The book will be published by Thomas Nelson, a well known Christian publisher.

I have been torn on wanting to blame Britney Spears’ problems on her family, but as an adult you are responsible for your own behavior. The best her family can do… is stick by her and hope for the best.

Take it from me, you can’t buy happiness – it has to come from within. Many of us have tried it the other way and it just doesn’t work!
