Lady Gaga & Madonna SNL Catfight (VIDEO)

Lady Gaga and Madonna got it on while appearing in a Saturday Night Live sketch this week. Midway through a segment called Deep House Dish, the pair came out onto the stage to perform together and then the action turned interesting.

The sexy black-clad blonde singers engaged in a catfight that included pulling hair, calling each other names, wrestling around on the ground, and even involved a kiss–as seen on the humorous video below – with a short commercial at the front end.

Madonna was a guest of David Letterman on the CBS Late Show Wednesday night. She made quite an entrance on the shoulders of the NY Rangers. She talked about her new greatest hits album Celebration and Dave managed to turn the conversation to her fling with Alex Rodriguez.

The Material Girl also touched on the breakup of her marriage to Guy Ritchie and the fact that the eight-year union had the couple living across the pond. Madonna offered by way of explanation, “It was the Bush years…a good time to be out of America.” She had this to say about her chances of marrying again, “I think I’d rather get run over by a train.”

Dave’s staff had done their homework and discovered that Madonna had never eaten pizza before, ‘a cheese thing’, so they made a quick trip next door to a pizzeria where their pre-ordered slices were waiting. Madge made a show of taking a bite of her olive adorned pie that was cheese barren.

Madonna Returning to Saturday Night Live

Danni Starr of our favorite live streaming radio show B96.3 KTTB-FM just announced on her Hollywood Hot Dish segment that Madonna will be returning to Saturday Night Live this season.

It has been 16 years since Madge was on the show. No word on whether she will host the show, sing or both. We want BOTH!

No word yet on when the show will air…surely the producers will play this out for a while. Danni wonders if Madonna will use her “British accent.” Ha! We do too.

Celebrity Quote: Christopher Ciccone on Sis Madonna

Ever since Christopher Ciccone wrote his memoir: Life With My Sister in 2008, his relationship with Madonna has been more than strained. It looks as if Christopher wants to keep the fire fueled.

Madonna took the stage at the VMA’s to speak about the late singer Michael Jackson and evidently her brother didn’t think she looked very good. Ciccone had this to say to E! News, “She looked like Rachel Zoe gone horribly wrong!” He was referring to the black satin zipper jacket and dress that the singer was attempting to rock at the MTV video awards show – see photos below.

Then he got in a few digs against Madge’s young boyfriend and protege Jesus Luz. He said, “It proves a point that you can judge a person by the company they keep–or don’t keep. It is painfully apparent that Jesus may be able to turn water into wine, but your basic blow dryer eludes him.”

We will attempt to contact Christopher Ciccone today and see if we can get him to share more on the subject with us. This could get interesting!

Madonna Booed for Roma Gypsies Comments (VIDEO)

Madonna was booed during her concert in Bucharest, Romania, on Wednesday for comments addressing discrimination against Roma, aka, Romani or Gypsies.

During a pause in her two hour show, Madonna, who has been touring with a group of Roma musicians, said, “It has been brought to my attention … that there is a lot of discrimination against Romanies and Gypsies in general in Eastern Europe,” she said. “It made me feel very sad.”

The comment was met with boos and jeers from the 60,000-strong crowd.

Roma, a nomadic ethnic group that live mostly in southern and eastern Europe, are widely discriminated against, often confined to low-class ghettos and subject to police brutality and racially motivated attacks.

Inciting more boos and a few cheers, Madonna added, “We believe in freedom and equal rights for everyone, right? Gypsies, homosexuals, people who are different; everyone is equal and should be treated with respect, OK? Let’s not forget that.”

The London tabloid Mail Online published some startling photos of Madonna over the weekend. The pics show the Material Girl’s arms looking excessively muscled, ropey and displaying prominently bulging veins.

The accompanying article with the Mail Online pics suggests that the singer has taken her workout regimen too seriously. Not so….reports Madonna’s rep, who claims that the latest photos have been altered and are clearly photoshopped.

In the top photo which was captured in September 2008, the bulging veins were the real deal, but are likely a case of Madge being extremely lean and dehydrated after a strenuous workout.

Madonna Tribute to Michael Jackson at O2 Arena (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Madonna has been working on a special choreographed dance number as a tribute to Michael Jackson, who died in Los Angeles a week ago at the age of 50.

She unveiled the special performance on Saturday night in London at O2 Arena, the same venue where the King of Pop would have performed his comeback tour of 50 concerts beginning July 13, 2009.

An impersonator came on stage wearing a sequined jacket, white t-shirt, single white glove and white socks. He performed Jackson’s signature dance moves including the Moonwalk – though he did not sing.

Madonna has extended her highly successful Sticky & Sweet Tour – with a new round of appearances throughout Europe kicking off today.

The special number was reportedly a huge hit with Madge’s fans and is likely to be repeated for the duration of her tour engagements.

Madonna and her new daughter Mercy James were photographed this weekend while attending a Kabbalah service in London. Also accompanying the pair were her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, their son Rocco, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon and their adopted son David Banda.

Mercy James was recently flown from Malawi to London, where she will live with her new family–following a three month battle that was waged after Madonna’s initial adoption petition was denied by a panel of judges – see Madonna and Lourdes in Malawi here.

Madonna’s “friend” Jesus Luz was on hand in Buenos Aires, Argentina yesterday on a photocall for the Ona Saez Spring/Winter 2010 campaign Fieles.

There is no denying that Luz is extremely good looking…but, why didn’t someone help him pick out a jacket that fit him. If Madonna is truly his friend, she needs to get him a stylist or lend him one of hers.

Check out the photos below–it looks like Jesus needs someone to help him shave too. The peach fuzz thing is 16-year-old behavior. Granted, he’s only 22 but come on!
