Aerobatic Pilot Vicki Cruse Dies in Plane Crash (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Vicki Cruse, president of the International Aerobatic Club, died during a Silverstone Race Circuit air show on Saturday in Northamptonshire, England. Police were called to the scene of the accident at 12:12 p.m.

The 40-year-old aerobatic pilot from Santa Paula, California was pronounced dead at the scene after her single-seat Zivko Edge 540 nosedived into the ground during a training day practice session.

According to an eyewitness on the ground, “She flew straight up in the air and then straight back down again. But she dropped straight into the ground. There was no fire and no smoke, just a terrible wreckage. There is no way anyone was getting out of the wreckage.”

The World Aerobatic Championships are being staged over a 13 day period running from August 17 to August 29 featuring 60 pilots from 19 countries. The show has been held every two years since 1960. This is the first time the event has been held at Silverstone.

Cruse won the US national unlimited aerobatic title in 2007. She has been president of the International Aerobatic Club since 2005.

Tiger Brewer: 8 Year Old Wing Walker VIDEO

Eight-year-old Tiger Brewer is currently waiting for verification that he is the new world record holder as the youngest wing-walker. Two independent witnesses have submitted their observations of the event to Guiness World Records.

The boy was strapped to the top of his grandfather’s bi-plane for the 100 mph ride over Rendcomb Airfield in Goucestershire. Vic Norman said, “It was wonderful to fly with Tiger on my wing. He shares my passion for flying and it was a very special experience for us both.”

The previous record was set in 2001 by Guy Mason, son of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason who set the earlier record at the age of 11-years-old.

Police authorities in Britain and Ireland have been searching for known sex offender and pedophile Raymond Hewlett. He has been identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who went missing in the Algarve region of Portugal in May 2007, just a few days before her fourth birthday.

The youngster and her family were vacationing at Praia da Luz resort when she was reportedly removed from her bed while her parents ate dinner with friends at a nearby restaurant. She is the oldest child of Kate McCann and Gerry McCann, physicians from the UK. Kate is a general practitioner and Gerry is a cardiologist.

Two retired UK policemen, Dave Edgar and Arthur Cowley have been heading up the ongoing investigative search. According to spokesman Clarence Mitchell, “Mr Hewlett is an individual of interest in the Madeleine investigation but I would stress it is just one line of inquiry. Beyond that I can’t really go into any further operational detail.”

The 64 year old Hewlett was reportedly someone who the McCann’s met at a camping area about an hour away from the town where Madeleine disappeared. He is believed to be receiving medical treatment in Germany.

Law enforcement authorities have released an age enhanced photo of what Madeleine McCann would look like today, at the age of six. That portrait has been widely circulated by the National Center For Missing & Exploited Children.

Britain’s Got Talent singing sensation, 47 year old Susan Boyle, is still very much in the running to win the BBC reality show. Scotland’s Daily Record has unearthed a recording from 1984 that many will find interesting.

At age twenty-two, Boyle was part of a singing contest and performed the Barbara Streisand hit, The Way We Were at an area social club. She did a credible job and looked quite attractive.

One of the locals, 61 year old Gerry McGuinness said, “I can remember that she was a shy young girl, but also very attractive back then – she turned a few heads when she came into the club.”

Britain’s Got Talent has found another potential superstar in 12 year old Shaheen Jafargholi. Watch out Susan Boyle, now you’ve got some competition. He looks like the ‘kid version’ of Mario Lopez with those dimples.

The young actor and singer is of Iranian descent and lives with his single mom in Swansea, UK. He started his Cardiff audition performance by singing Valerie by Amy Winehouse but judge Simon Cowell stopped him and remarked, “You got this really wrong. Can you sing anything else?”

The young man then cemented his place on the reality show by giving a remarkable performance of the Michael Jackson song Who’s Lovin’ You. The audience sprang to their feet with cheers and applause and the judges unanimously agreed that the young man will advance to the next level of competition.

The kid is no stranger to the stage. He has appeared in several television shows on the BBC and has also toured on stage as a young Michael Jackson.

JADE GOODY 1981-2009

Jade Goody died on March 22, 2009 of cervical cancer. Her valiant struggle with the disease has been captured on film and her story will also be told in an upcoming book. Both of those projects were initiated by Goody when it became obvious that the end was nearing.

The 27 year old, an actress who appeared in several reality shows, allowed the world to share her final days in an effort to ensure the financial security of her two young sons, Bobby and Freddie. She is also survived by her husband Jack Tweed, who she married a month before her death, and her mother Jackiey Budden.

The funeral was held earlier today in Essex, England at St. John the Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill. Mourners lined the streets to bid farewell to a woman who captured the hearts of her countrymen. A vintage Rolls Royce carried the coffin and was followed by a long cortege. Pall bearers carried the coffin and the release of white doves was part of the ceremony.

Sarah Blewden: Model With Breast Implants Banned from Boxing

Sarah Blewden, a 25-year-old model-turned-boxer, has been banned from fighting because of her breast implants.

Blewden bagan boxing two years ago as a way to keep fit, and discovered she had a natural talent for it. She applied to the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) in hopes of eventually competing in the Olympics.

She was told she wasn’t allowed to fight due to her breast implants.

It was ruled that Sarah’s breasts were at risk of ‘capsular contracture’ or distortion if they were repeatedly hit. According to Blewden the ruling is “just ridiculous.”

“My surgeon said they make me no more vulnerable than any other woman. They are not enormous ones – they are in proportion,” said Blewden, who went from a 32B to a 32C to boost her modeling career.

A three year old video has surface of Prince Harry during his Army training. On it he makes several racist remarks that have caused a firestorm and prompted an apology from the House of Clarence.

The first insult is to an Asian trainee who Harry refers to as “our little Paki friend.” In another instances, he calls another officer “a f***ing raghead.”

A spokesman from St. James Palace released the following statement on the Prince’s behalf:

“Prince Harry fully understands how offensive this term can be – and is extremely sorry for any offense his words might cause. However, on this occasion three years ago, Prince Harry used the term without any malice and as a nickname about a highly popular member of his platoon. There is no question that Prince Harry was in any way seeking to insult his friend.”

The Prince made waves in 2005 when he dressed in a Nazi uniform for a costume party. He later made a public apology to Britian’s Jewish community for having offended them.

Prince William had his own embarrassing video – showing the future King of England peeing on a fence.

Newly divorced Guy Ritchie isn’t wasting any time finding female comfort in London. He and millionaire heiress Jemima Khan attended a holiday dinner party at the home of Matthew Freud and Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Rupert Murdoch.

Other party-goers included Stella and Mary McCartney, Lily Allen, Mick Jagger and Kevin Spacey.

The gorgeous and rich English socialite is 33 years old and divorced with two sons, age 12 and 9. She was romantically linked to actor Hugh Grant for three years but the couple parted company in 2007. Several London tabloids are reporting that Simon Cowell, who recently parted ways with Terri Seymour, is also interested in Khan.

Ritchie received upwards of $90 million in his divorce settlement from Madonna. He has purchased a townhouse in central London and also retains ownership of the country estate that the couple shared during their marriage. He was recently reported to be interested in another young London beauty, Kelly Reilly.
