Kate Hudson American Music Awards Wardrobe Issues (PHOTOS)

Kate Hudson and Nicole Kidman graced the stage at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on Sunday night during the American Music Awards. The duo, who star together in the upcoming musical Nine, introduced the Black Eyed Peas. Hudson, fearing a wardrobe malfunction, pulled together the front of her dress several times while Kidman spoke.

Kate may well be the only A-List celebrity in Hollywood who needn’t worry about falling out of her costume. Quite the contrary, her very loose metallic dress threatened to expose her boyish physique. No matter…she is still one gorgeous and talented woman.

Gwyneth Paltrow to Play Nicole Kidman’s Wife

Actresses Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow have both signed on to appear in a controversial film entitled The Danish Girl. The screenplay is based on the 2000 David Ebershoff novel, a true story, that delved into one of the first sex change operations in 1930.

Paltrow will play Kidman’s wife Gerda Wegener. Besides portraying a man who later becomes a woman, Kidman has taken on the additional task of producing the film. The project will see a 2010 release in Australia and New Zealand but won’t premiere in the U.S. until 2011.

The lead character, Einar Mogens Wegener, becomes Lili Elbe. She endured five surgeries over a period of two years, dying tragically just months after undergoing an operation that would have enabled her to have a baby.

Initially, actress Charlize Theron had signed on to play opposite Nicole but has since backed out. No word on why she withdrew from what is likely to be a riveting film.

Chaz Bono, daughter of Sonny Bono and Cher and formerly known as Chastity Bono, is currently going through a sex change. Check out her ongoing transition here.

Four Hollywood Beauties Cover Vogue November 2009

Four beautiful cast members of the soon to be released movie musical Nine grace the cover of Vogue magazine’s November 2009 issue. Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson were captured for the upcoming issue by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Daniel Day-Lewis plays the character of Guido Contini, who struggles to find harmonic balance between his personal and professional lives, while engaging in relationships with his mother, his wife, his agent, his muse and his mistress.

The movie premieres November 25, 2009.

Nicole Kidman Shouldn’t Promote Her Movies

Actress Nicole Kidman is struggling with the fact that her latest film Australia was a box office bomb. Her co-star was Hugh Jackman. The movie was directed by Baz Luhrmann, who she also worked with on Moulin Rouge.

She normally doesn’t watch her own performance on the big screen but she made an exception in this case. Nicole acknowledges that in her whole movie career, this was only the second time that she attended the screening of her own film. The first was Moulin Rouge. During an interview with an Australian radio show, Kidman spoke frankly about how agonizing it is for her. She claims to have squirmed in her seat through the entire showing.

“I can’t look at the movie and be proud of what I have done. I sat there and I looked at Keith and went ‘Am I any good in this movie?’”

Kidman, her daughter Sunday Rose and husband country singer Keith Urban, said a quick hello to their family after the screening and got immediately on a plane because the actress didn’t want to read any bad press about her performance.

Kidman is hinting that she may be planning to have another child and slow things down a bit.

Being sure not to alienate the rest of the cast, Nicole gave kudos to Hugh Jackman and 11 year old Brandon Walters, saying that they were “wonderful.”

More Babies for Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

Australian beauty Nicole Kidman has been hitting the media circuit for her new epic film Australia along with her co-star Hugh Jackman. Kidman says: “This is a once in a lifetime thing. I mean, rarely do you get to make a film that you’ve dreamed of making since you were little.”

Kidman admits that her mind was racing about thoughts of her daughter Sunday. This is the first time that Kidman has been away from 4-month old baby girl Sunday for a 24 hour period. Nicole and her husband country singer Keith Urban are unsure of what the future will bring as far as children go but they do have hopes of having a bigger family.

Kidman says she is at peace in her life and that acting is not the only thing that she would like to accomplish in life. “In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don’t know, I mean, I’m in a place in my life where I’ve had some great opportunities – but I may just choose to have some more children.”

Hugh Jackman on Love Scene With Nicole Kidman

Actor Hugh Jackman has only good things to say about his leading lady Nicole Kidman in their upcoming film Australia. The two are currently filming a love scene for the film and Jackman says it couldn’t have been better or easier.

Well we are sure they will heat up the big screen because they are both unbelievably good looking people. Both of their spouses, Keith Urban and Deborra-Lee Furness, are in show business so they are understanding.

Although he wouldn’t give specific details on the love scenes he did say:

“I won’t tell you all the nitty gritty. But, director Baz Luhrmann treats love scenes like choreography. The camera is like a dancer. If you watch any of his movies, visually, the love scenes are like poetry.”

Nicole Kidman Claims ‘Fertility Water’ Got Her Pregnant

Actress Nicole Kidman and her country singing husband Keith Urban welcomed a baby girl in July. Sunday Rose Urban was their first child together, and Kidman’s first biological offspring. She has two teen children, Connor and Isabella, who were adopted during her marriage to actor Tom Cruise.

Kidman was rumored to have been rejected by Cruise because she was not looked upon with favor by the Church of Scientology. Most of us took that as a positive for the actress but her latest revelation puts her back on shaky ground.

Kidman, featured in The Australian Women’s Weekly 75th Anniversary issue, says that she became pregnant with her daughter because she swam in ‘fertility waters’ in the Aussie Outback during the filming of the movie epic Australia. She offers up added proof that seven women went swimming in the Kununurra waterfalls and all became pregnant. Does that mean that Keith Urban had nothing to do with it? We’re just asking…..

Australia is set for release on November 26th – sure to be a Thanksgiving blockbuster.

Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl in Nashville this morning, July 7, 2008. The new daughter is the first child for country western singer Keith Urban. The new baby is her third child.

The 6 lb. 7.5 oz. baby has been named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, according to People magazine. Keith was at Nicole’s side during the entire process and mother and daughter are reported to be doing very well, according to the couple’s rep. Paul Freundlich.

The actress has two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise. Connor is 13 and Isabella is 15. They couple share custody of the children.

Nicole and Urban recently scouted out homes in the Los Angeles area, presumably to be closer to their older children, who attend school and engage in various sports activities in California.

Keith Urban’s Favorite Baby T-Shirt: ‘I Crawl the Line’

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are getting ready to welcome their first baby. That involves buying baby clothes. Urban told a reporter about a few favorite baby items that have been purchased by the couple. One is a tie-dyed jumpsuit and the other, a particular favorite of the couple, is a t-shirt that says ‘I Crawl the Line‘.

The country singing star was a surprise performer on Friday night at the CMA Music Fest at LP Field in Nashville. Taylor Swift (check out her brilliant ‘Rain’ performance HERE) and Kellie Pickler introduced the mystery guest by telling the ladies in the audience that “he’s very good looking”. Urban made the night of one fan when he signed his own guitar and handed it over to an unsuspecting concert goer as he made his way through the crowd.

Urban is apparently sensitive to the pressing economic issues of the day. He told the crowd of country fans:

I want to say a huge thank you to everybody that has coughed up the most outrageous amount of money per gallon to get gas to come to this festival this year. We’re gonna give you a show worth seven bucks a gallon, so you’re making three bucks right there.”

Backstage Urban, who has battled addiction issues, was asked if Nicole and the new baby would be joining him on tour. He had this to say:

I love having her with me when I tour, but at the same time, it’s work. You don’t want to ask too much of your family. And as for bringing baby on the road, we’ll just have to see what works for us.”

According to the Los Angeles Times Dish Rag, an Aussie ‘down under’ source is reporting that actress Nicole Kidman and husband country singer Keith Urban are due to welcome their first child during the first week of July.

In other breaking news, it has been reported that Nicole, like her pregnant predecessors Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, posed nude on Wednesday, May 21. She arrived at Smashbox Studio to work with famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier. No news yet on which magazine will be publishing the photos.

The couple reportedly went on a major house hunt in March 2008, purchasing estates in Los Angeles and Nashville. They also maintain a home in Sydney, Australia. The new LA digs will bring Kidman closer to the two children that she and Tom Cruise adopted together. The couple share physical custody of Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, but the teens appear to spend the majority of their time in LA with Tom and Katie Holmes and 2 year old daughter Suri.
