Rielle Hunter, videographer and former mistress of Senator John Edwards, entered the federal courthouse in Raleigh, North Carolina on Thursday morning to testify before a grand jury. She was summoned to answer questions about the $100,000 that she was paid by the Edwards campaign in 2006 to film a private behind-the-scenes look at the candidate.

William Shatner was asked to read Sarah Palin’s farewell speech by Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien.
Shatner lends his own style of poetic interpretation to the speech, reciting it in beat poem style, complete with bongos and bass.
Palin stepped down from her position as Alaska Governor, delivering her farewell speech last Sunday.
