Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton may have accidentally revealed the gender of her unborn child.

During a visit to the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England yesterday, the Duchess of Cambridge was given a white teddy bear by a local, Diane Burton.  Kate’s response was “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d—.”  She quickly ended her sentence.

Questioned by the crowd on the fact that she was going to say “daughter” — Middleton replied, “We’re not telling.”

Reporters pushed the question further but the wife of Prince William wouldn’t admit that they know the sex of their child.  One reporter said, “Oh, I think you do,” and Kate insisted sweetly, “We’re not telling.”

According to Us Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did find out the baby’s gender and have only told their parents.

Queen Elizabeth II recently declared that if William and Kate are blessed with a girl she will be called Princess and referred to as Her Royal Highness.

Queen, William and Kate

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has issued a formal decree that will benefit the future children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

In a change to the century-old decree made by George V in 1917, all offspring born to Prince William and Duchess Kate will receive the title Prince or Princess.

Under the old degree, only the couple’s first born son would have been a Prince.  Female children would have received the title Lady, and would not have been afforded “Her Royal Highness” distinction.

The reigning monarch, 86, reportedly made the decision to create a revised decree on New Year’s Eve that will affect the royal status of her great-grandchildren born to the future King of England.

The London Gazette posted, “The Queen has been pleased by Letters Patent-under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 31 December 2012 to declare that all the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales should have and enjoy the style, title and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honour.”

Another proposed change in the works will remove gender discrimination in the line of succession, allowing a first-born child to ascend to the throne regardless of gender.

Kate and William are expecting their royal firstborn in July.

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton won their first legal battle today when a French court ordered Closer magazine to turn over all of the original sunbathing photos to the couple within 24 hours.

St. James Palace issued a brief statement, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcome the judge’s ruling.”

The magazine was the first to print the private photos of the couple.  The Irish Daily Star and Italian publication Chi followed suit.

The ruling applies only in France and it seems likely further action will be taken against the photographer who captured the images from a vantage point a half mile away from the compound where the couple vacationed before embarking on their nine-day Asian tour.

The publishers of the Irish Daily Star released a statement of their own, “Independent Star Limited has suspended editor Michael O’Kane with immediate effect, pending an investigation into the circumstances that led to the Irish Daily Star re-publishing pages from the French magazine Closer, which contained images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”

The Royal couple left the Solomon Islands early Tuesday for the next leg of their journey and are now in Tuvalu, a Polynesian island nation located midway between Hawaii and Australia.

During the Solomon Islands leg of their nine-day Asian tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were greeted by traditional warrior dancers wielding spears and sporting loin cloths.

Prince William and the former Kate Middleton rode through the streets in a truck that was cleverly disguised as a canoe as 60,000 islanders gathered to catch a glimpse of the Royal visitors.

Kate wore an aqua, white and forest-green geometric Jonathan Saunders dress that retails for $1,490.  She accessorized the look with a white Jane Taylor cocktail hat that reminded us of an Amish cap when viewed from a distance.  Was the look a fashion hit or miss?

Her Royal Highness later changed into island garb, a strapless dress of pink and orange batik design that was presented to her as a gift from her hosts.  This dress we LOVED!

The couple are undoubtedly bracing for a new 26-page barrage of explicit photos, a 50 image total, that will be published by Italian magazine ‘Chi’ Monday.

There is a new round of media hype that suggests Prince William and the former Kate Middleton are in a family way.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are midway through a nine-day tour of Asia and has been photographed at a number of high-profile events.

We’ve heard the pregnancy rumblings in the past but this time there just might be something to the suggestions that Kate is sporting a baby bump based on new images captured in Singapore.

Further fueling the rumors is the fact that Duchess Catherine has opted for water during all of the state dinners.  While her husband has been drinking wine and champagne, she has not.

Check out more potential baby bump photos below.  Let us know what you think … yes? no way? not sure?:
