Rihanna Cancels Boston Concert Due to Laryngitis

Rihanna has cancelled her concert scheduled for Sunday night in Boston.

RiRi kicked off the Diamonds World Tour in Buffalo, New York Friday night, but she has now cancelled her Sunday night show at the TD Garden in Boston.

“#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we’ve been waiting on this day forever, and I’m hurt that I let you down,” the singer tweeted, adding, “I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I’m so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! #DWT.”

A statement posted on the venue’s website reads, “The Rihanna Diamonds World Tour previously scheduled for this evening in Boston has been postponed…Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor’s instruction is unable to perform this evening. Boston fans are instructed to retain their tickets pending rescheduling show date information.”

Rihanna is due back on stage in Baltimore, Maryland on Tuesday, March 12.

Rihanna Releases New Music Video ‘Stay’

Rihanna released her latest music video ‘Stay,’ a single from her multi-platinum seventh studio album ‘Unapologetic.’ The video is filled with raw emotion … and seems a bit sad.

We see Rihanna undressing and climbing into a bathtub full of cloudy green water. The low-key video also features Mikky Ekko, who performs his part of the song separately while gazing into a mirror and sitting on the side of an empty bath.

Sophie Muller directed the simplistic footage that allows fans to get up close and personal with Rihanna as she soaks and sulks.

Rihanna performed an equally emotional rendition of ‘Stay’ at the Grammy Awards. She told Ryan Seacrest during a red carpet interview, “The video was really, really simple. I pretty much stayed put in the bathtub.”

Rihanna played it safe last night at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, rocking a ravishing red gown at the high-profile Staples Center event. Oh wait, upon closer inspection RiRi’s girl parts were visible beneath the sheer fabric.

She accessorized her stunningly gorgeous Alaia dress with silver baubles, long brunette tresses, red lips and nails. The look, from a distance, placed her among the minority who actually took their wardrobe cues from the advisory e-mail issued earlier in the week by CBS. Savvy move by the Barbadian beauty.

We’re guessing Rihanna will be named one of the best dressed women on last night’s red carpet.

Last year Rihanna rocked a revealing black Armani dress that was backless and deeply cut to her navel in front … and we mustn’t forget the leg slit that showed off one of her gorgeous legs.

Roc Nation Gives Rihanna a $160K Porsche for Christmas

Life is good for Rihanna! The entertainer recently purchased a $12 million L.A. home. Adding to her good fortune is the fact that her management company, Roc Nation, has gifted her with a $160K Porsche 911 Turbo S as a Christmas gift to show their appreciation.

The recording artist, known as @badgirlriri on Instagram, posted a photo of her new ride’s backend, “Turbo on dat a$$.” Then she added a full angle of the Turbo S and gloated, “All I see is signs, all I see is dolla $ign$.”

In true Rihanna style, the Barbadian used her special lingo to thank Roc Nation on Twitter:

The singers new Pacific Palisades home is 11,000 square-feet and boosts 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a large pool and room for twenty cars – check it out.

Rihanna has purchased a new Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles, CA, for $12 million just in time for the holidays.

The 11,000 square foot mansion includes seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and sits on an approximately 33,541 square foot elevated lot.

There is an expansive kitchen and an extra large dining room, a media and game room.

Outdoor space includes a zero edge swimming pool with poolside barbeque and bar. There is an additional barbeque, a fire pit and a jacuzzi on the sun deck.

Earlier this morning the 24-year-old singer tweeted, “I literally wake up every morning at 5:30is and stare at my pool til the sun comes up! Just waiting! #isthismylife.”
