Robert Pattinson Halts Ryan Seacrest Radio Interview (VIDEO)

Ryan Seacrest took his radio show on the road for the L.A. premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon Monday night in Westwood. Robert Pattinson came in with his handlers to have a live chat with the popular host but things ended abruptly after Seacrest apparently broached a forbidden subject.

When the radio disc jockey asked, “What do you say to your fans who are desperate to know about you and your co-star Kristen Stewart?” A female handler had a mini meltdown and the session was over. Seacrest lamented, “I was just cut off for the first time ever.”

To his credit, Pattinson remained civil to the bitter end with, “Watch New Moon – it’s amazing.”

New Moon Premiere Los Angeles (Red Carpet PHOTOS)

The Mann Village and Bruin Theater in Westwood was overflowing with Hollywood celebrities for the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on Monday night.

Among the attendees were Justin Chambers, Julianne Hough, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Kennedy, Meaghan Martin, Richie Sambora and his daughter Ava.

Others included Emilie de Ravin, Lea Michelle, Christian Serratos, Elle and Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Cat Keeley, Jack Huston, Mary Murphy and Kristen Quintrall.

Ryan Seacrest was doing a live radio show from the premiere. Robert Pattinson was chatting it up with the popular disc-jockey when a female handler ended the interview abruptly. What did Seacrest say that derailed the chat? Check it out here.

Nothing Romantic About Robert Pattinson (PHOTOS)

Please girl’s–don’t send us hate mail because these were Robert Pattinson’s own words, not ours. Busy promoting the latest installment of the popular vampire series Twilight: New Moon, Robert has been answering many personal questions about his life.

On top of the list are inquiries about his love life. Everyone wants to know how he would treat a girl. Rob actually considers himself wimpy. He said, “I can’t think of a single romantic thing that I have done. I would never serenade someone to be romantic – you have to have so much balls to do that. I put a flower in someones locker when I was 15 years old, this girl named Maria. She thought that it was someone else, and the guy claimed it as well, which is great.”

Rumored to be dating his Twilight costar Kristin Stewart, Robert is overly private and calls himself “obsessive and possessive”. He acknowledges that he can take things to extremes and at times it can be ridiculous.

Pattinson will not allow anyone to call the shots in his life. He said, “I don’t listen to anyone else. That’s why I don’t have a publicist – I can’t stand it if someone is trying to tell me to do something which might be a mistake.”

Girls and women of all ages are “in love” with Robert and/or his character Edward Cullen. Alixis Smith wrote in to tell us about her love for Robert and we gotta say, she is pretty much right on the mark with her observations, which seem to mirror the way Pattinson describes himself:

“Most people love him as Edward Cullen in the Twilight saga books. I however love him for who he is. He is the “typical” boy next door, who admits he is not perfect. He is just a normal guy who probably doesn’t want to have so much attention drawn to him. Besides being an excellent actor, he is a talented musician who writes his own music, sings and plays many musical instruments. I like the normalness of how you see him in the media and how he doesn’t have to pretend to be somebody he’s not. So I basically love him a lot, as a whole package.”

The publishers of the Twilight series of books, Little Brown Young, have released a photo of the cover of their newest book New Moon. Featured on the cover are Twilight stars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. Seen hovering in the background is Robert Pattinson.

The film version entitled The Twilight Sage: New Moon will hit theaters during the much coveted Thanksgiving weekend beginning November 20, 2009, one of the biggest movie-going long weekends of the year – view trailer here.

Author Stephenie Meyer has Bella Swan (Stewart) faced with a separation from vamp Edward Cullen (Pattinson), entering into a friendship with Jacob Black (Lautner) and meeting up with his friends in the ‘wolf pack’.

Pattinson recently filmed a steamy love scene with Emilie de Ravin for their new movie Remember Me.

Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin will definitely be heating up the big screen when their latest movie Remember Me is released.

The hot couple were photographed making out in the sand dunes yesterday at a local beach in New York. This comes one day after Pattinson was struck by a taxicab, while he was crossing a busy Manhattan street – photos and details here.

Twilight actor Robert Pattinson was filming Remember Me on the streets of Manhattan earlier today when he was mobbed by a pack of screaming fans. In desperation, he was hustled across the street in front of the Strand Bookstore by his security detail and was clipped on the hip by a passing taxicab.

Flanked by a large contingent of bodyguards, one of them quickly determined that the injury to Pattinson’s hip wasn’t serious and then turned to a group of screaming girls and said, “You see what you did, you almost killed him.”

The British actor was clearly overwhelmed by the swarm of teenagers, as evidenced by the photos and video below. Later in the day, Pattinson pulled himself together and filmed a steamy love scene with co-star Emilie de Ravin in the sand dunes of a local beach.

Lost actress Emilie de Ravin and her actor husband of three years, 27 year old Josh Janowicz, have split and are headed for divorce court. The couple were married in Australia in June 2006, after dating for over four years.

This is the second split for the couple. Their first separation occurred just six months into the marriage, but they quickly reconciled. This time it appears they will not reunite.

Emilie’s rep, Jeff Raymond, confirmed the fact that the couple have been living separately and have initiated divorce proceedings. He added the requisite “they will remain friends”.

The actress, 27, who will return in the fall for a sixth season of Lost, is spending her summer filming Remember Me with actor Robert Pattinson. The love story is set for February 2010 release. Her film Public Enemies, with Johnny Depp, will hit theaters on July 1, 2009.

Kristen Stewart won the Best Female Performance at the 2009 MTV Awards last night at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles. The accolade was awarded to the 19-year-old actress for her lead role as Bella Swan in Twilight.

The award was presented by the trio of Cameron Diaz, Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin. A very nervous and flustered Stewart struggled through an acceptance speech and then proceeded to fumble with her award, sending it airborne.

It was a good night for the vampire love story, which won a total of five honors, including best film. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner introduced the world premiere trailer of the Twilight sequel New Moon.

Even more startling than the awkward Kristen Stewart award flip was the stunt pulled by Sasha Baron Cohen, who dropped from the ceiling, dressed as a giant dove, onto the lap of Eminem. See Eminem and Bruno video here.

Rumors are running rampant that Erika Dutra, a California native, captured the attention of Twilight star Robert Pattinson while attending the Cannes Film Festival.

Erika and Robert were introduced by a mutual friend at a post-party for amfAR Cinema Against AIDS, according to Life & Style. “He took pictures of her, sat with her all night, and the two of them were even seen kissing! There was serious chemistry between them, and they looked like they were having an amazing time,” says an eyewitness, who also alleges the two left the party together.

Pattinson will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
