Sarah Michelle Gellar Prinze and Freddie Prinze Jr. Welcome a Daughter

Sarah Michelle Gellar Prinze and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are the proud parents of a baby daughter who was born on Saturday, September 19. A rep for the actress reports that “the family is over the moon.”

The couple announced that they were expecting a baby in April. They have named their first child Charlotte Grace Prince.

The new father will star in the upcoming season of 24. Gellar has filmed a television series The Wonderful Maladys, an ensemble drama that is slated to be aired on HBO in 2010.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar is sporting a prominent baby bump in a new set of photos taken yesterday while she was out and about on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The actress married actor Freddie Prinze Jr. in 2002. The baby is their first child and is due in the Fall 2009.

After six years of marriage, Hollywood celebrities Sarah Michelle Gellar and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child. The couple are reportedly thrilled and have shared with friends that their baby will arrive this fall.

Best known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the 31 year old actress is currently working on a pilot for HBO, The Maladays. Prinze, 33, recently wrapped his own pilot for ABC, No Heroics.

Although Freddie will not be putting on tights and hitting anyone over the head with a plastic chair, he will definitely be behind the scenes. The actor has been married to actress Sarah Michelle Geller since September of 2002. The couple do not have any children.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, 30, is best know as Buffy Summers in the acclaimed television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination. She has also received a Daytime Emmy Award for her role in All My Children.

Gellar has two films that are due to be released; The Air I Breathe on January 25, 2008 and Possession sometime in March 2008. The actress is married to Freddie Prinze Jr. and legally changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze on the occasion of their 5th wedding anniversary. The couple met while they were shooting the 1997 teen horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer.

We said body rather than face because she doesn’t show her face in any of the photographs. Part of the mystery of the ads is that Vaseline wants people to guess the identity of the model.
