William Shatner Reads Sarah Palin Farewell Speech (Video and Transcript)

William Shatner was asked to read Sarah Palin’s farewell speech by Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien.
Shatner lends his own style of poetic interpretation to the speech, reciting it in beat poem style, complete with bongos and bass.
Palin stepped down from her position as Alaska Governor, delivering her farewell speech last Sunday.

Sarah Palin Resigns (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin announced today that she will step down as the governor of Alaska on July 26, 2009, at which time she will turn over the reigns to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell.  She was elected to her post in November 2006, becoming the first woman and the youngest governor in Alaska history.
