Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb React to SNL Spoof (VIDEO)

Kristen Wigg and Jenny Slate did a Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb skit on Saturday Night Live this week. The Today Show co-hosts showed a film clip and chatted about it this morning.

Hoda took it all in stride, even acknowledging that Wiig can sing, but Gifford took exception. Kathie Lee said, “Can’t she get another job? Go off and do something else? I’m going to sue her for ruining my song! Don’t call her a good singer. She’s not in tune. I don’t think it’s that funny.”

Lady Gaga & Madonna SNL Catfight (VIDEO)

Lady Gaga and Madonna got it on while appearing in a Saturday Night Live sketch this week. Midway through a segment called Deep House Dish, the pair came out onto the stage to perform together and then the action turned interesting.

The sexy black-clad blonde singers engaged in a catfight that included pulling hair, calling each other names, wrestling around on the ground, and even involved a kiss–as seen on the humorous video below – with a short commercial at the front end.

Jenny Slate Fired for Dropping F Bomb on SNL?

Despite speculation that new Saturday Night Live cast member Jenny Slate would be fired for dropping the F bomb on the show’s season premiere (see video), NBC said there is “no truth to firing conjecture.”

“She will not be fired, ” said spokeswoman Sharon Pannozzo.

Slate’s slip of the tongue occured during a skit with castmate Kristen Wiig and host Megan Fox, called, “Biker Chick Chat.”

It was clear from the SNL rookie’s reaction that the swear word was an accident.

The show aired live on the East Coast, but producers censored the slip-up for West Coast airings, raplacing the F word with “freakin.”

SNL cast member Jenny Slate marked her debut last night by dropping the f-bomb in a skit with Megan Fox and Kristen Wiig called “Biker Chick Chat.”

The Saturday Night Live season premiere, hosted by Megan Fox, with musical guest U2, also introduced us to new cast member Nasim Pedrad, but the episode will best be remembered for Slate’s swear word.

As gauged by Slate’s reaction, the expletive was clearly a slip of the tongue. It will be interesting to see if the FCC punishes the show, as they did in 1981 for Charles Rocket’s use of the f-word.

Megan Fox SNL Premiere Video September 26, 2009

Megan Fox hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live last night, with musical guests U2.

The “Jennifer’s Body” actress notably didn’t mention her latest film, instead introducing herself as a star of “Transformers.”

The show also introduced us to new cast members Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad, although neither appeared much. Slate will be remembered for accidentally dropping the f-bomb (watch video) during a sketch with Fox and Kristen Wiig, called “Biker Chick Chat.”

It will be interesting to see if the FCC punishes the show for the slip of the tongue, as they did when cast member Charles Rocket used the f-word in 1981.

Madonna Returning to Saturday Night Live

Danni Starr of our favorite live streaming radio show B96.3 KTTB-FM just announced on her Hollywood Hot Dish segment that Madonna will be returning to Saturday Night Live this season.

It has been 16 years since Madge was on the show. No word on whether she will host the show, sing or both. We want BOTH!

No word yet on when the show will air…surely the producers will play this out for a while. Danni wonders if Madonna will use her “British accent.” Ha! We do too.

Justin Timberlake, Andy Samberg ‘Motherlover’ SNL Video

Recurring Saturday Night Live host Justin Timberlake joined Andy Samberg once again last night for a Mother’s Day-themed sequel to their “Dick in A Box” digital short called “Motherlover.”

With Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson in MILF cameos, Timberlake and Samberg brought funny back with their witty vulgarity.

Being touted as this generation’s best SNL host, Justin appears in sketches all throughout the show, including one in which he publicly admits he slept with Britney Spears via a fictitious ancestor who predicts the future.

In the skit, Cornelius Timberlake says, “I’d like to think that at first, he’ll date a popular female singer (Spears). Publicly, they’ll claim to be virgins. But privately, he hit it.”

Zac Efron did a sketch on Saturday Night Live on April 12 where he played Cody Gifford, son of NBC Today Show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, who was also spoofed in the skit with her morning partner Hoda Kotb.

Gifford is the 19 year old son of NFL Hall of Famer Frank Gifford. Cody has a 15 year old sister Cassidy Gifford.

Worst Super Bowl XLIII Commercial Ads (Video)

The worst Super Bowl XLIII commercial ads are quite possibly the SNL take-off ads on the 1980’s television series MacGyver. Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and MacGyver actor Richard Dean Anderson filmed several very, very bad ads.

At $3 million a pop, these 30 second spoofs were lame at best and seemed to go on forever.

Elisabeth Moss & Fred Armisen Engaged (Photos)

Actress Elisabeth Moss and Saturday Night Live star Fred Armisen are engaged. The couple have managed to keep their relationship well below the radar until very recently.

According to the 25 year old actress, “It happened just a few days ago. It’s private, so I don’t want to share the details of how it happened, but I will say it was perfect.”

The up and coming Moss first gained fame in the role of Zoey Bartlet on the television drama The West Wing. She went on to play secretary Peggy Olson, one of the lead roles in the AMC series Mad Men. In October 2008, Moss started a run on Broadway in the play Speed-the-Plow. See photo below of Armisen and Moss at the Ethel Barrymore Theater after one of her performances.

Armisen is also a comedian and musician. He played drums for the punk rock band Trenchmout and The Blue Man Group in Chicago in the late 80’s and early 90’s. His SNL impressions of political figures have included Barack Obama. He appeared as the political candidate in several skits opposite SNL actress Amy Poehler, who played candidate Hillary Clinton.
