Selena ran away from Jen Aniston

Filed under most embarrassing moments is the admission by Selena Gomez that she once bolted when Jennifer Aniston said hi to her.

The star-struck singer shared the terrifying incident that still makes her cringe during a visit to Radio Disney on Monday.

Gomez has always been a ‘Friends’ fan and admits, “I was scared, so I ran away and I’m really embarrassed about that.  I didn’t know what to do – it’s Rachel!”

The Disney celeb’s new single ‘Come & Get It’ leaked yesterday, 24-hours before it was slated to officially drop.  The track is from her untitled solo album due out this summer.

The mid-tempo pop song has element of Indian music and has received mostly favorable reviews from music critics.

You’ll get a chance to see her perform ‘Come & Get It’ at the MTV Movie Awards on April 14, 2013 and on the ‘Ellen Show’ April 16.

If you’re wondering, the 20-year-old entertainer denies that the tune is about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Disney stars shed their good girl image

Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens are moving away of their good girl roles with the release of ‘Spring Breakers,’ in theaters next week.

The plot begins with four college co-eds scheming to score some quick cash for their spring break trip to Florida.  It picked up an R-rating for strong sexual content, language, nudity, drug use, and violence throughout.

Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend is 20 and feeling liberated by this new direction but she continues to walk a fine line in order to keep her younger Disney fans on the hook.

Next week Selena will also appear on the Disney Channel in a one-hour television special title ‘The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex.’  She executive-produced the episode that will feature the Russo and Mason families visiting Tuscany.

The singer-actress is pleased that her Disney special coincides with the release of the adult-themed flick.

She admits, “I’m actually glad that it’s happened because I get to do something for the young ones and then get to do ‘Spring Breakers’ for the older ones.”

Gomez isn’t concerned about a backlash.  In fact, she’s fairly certain “the fans are going to love it.”

The film, opening March 22, also co-stars James Franco, Rachel Korine and Ashley Benson.

Britney Spears and Selena Gomez

During a South by Southwest Film Festival Q & A panel discussion yesterday, Selena Gomez and her ‘Spring Breakers’ co-stars Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine gave an impromptu performance of ‘Baby One More Time.’

There is a scene in the film where the young actresses sing the Britney Spears tune.  When a journalist at SXSW asked if they were lip syncing during the flick, they launched into an a capella verse of Brit’s hit.

The rendition sounded pretty good and got the attention of Spears, who responded with this tweet:

The film follows four college-aged girls who decide to rob a fast food restaurant in order to finance their spring break.  Other co-stars include James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens.

Look for it at your local theater beginning March 22.  Check out the rendition that got Britney’s attention in the clip below:

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez photos

Broke up, split, done, over!  Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer a couple and they both seem to be obsessing about it while on stage.

Each entertainer has taken their turn at performing Justin Timberlake song ‘Cry Me a River,’ written about his split with Britney Spears.

Bieber was the first to sing the breakup song at his Boston concert in November.  And now Gomez belted it out in New York City at the benefit concert for UNICEF.

Before Gomez sang the breakup anthem she told her audience, “I’ve kind of been through a lot these past couple of months, and it’s been really interesting and fun at the same time – and weird and sad, but cool. This song has helped me through a lot, and if anybody knows ‘N Sync or, you know, some J.T., you’re gonna know what I’m talking about. But this song definitely speaks to me.”

Check out the videos below.  We remain hard pressed to decide who had the better vocals.  Let us know what you think:

It’s official.  Justin Bieber, 18 and Selena Gomez, 20, are no longer a couple after ending their nearly two year relationship.

PEOPLE has confirmed the split, “She broke up with him about a week ago,  With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It’s not easy, but the relationship needed to end.”

This isn’t the first time that they have split.  They were on the outs in August 2011 and then again in July of this year.  They were last sighted together in October at a haunted house.

Justin filmed an interview with Oprah Winfrey in late October that will air on Nov. 25.  They chatted about how some celebrities use separate exits and refuse to be photographed together.

He responded, “I don’t keep her separate from me because I don’t ever want to make her feel like I’m ashamed of her.”
