Lance Armstrong Breaks Silence Over Sheryl Crow Split

Cyclist Lance Armstrong and singer Sheryl Crow were once one of the most popular couples around and when the pair split they left their fans wondering why. Now Lance has decided to break his silence and has given his side of the story to author John Wilcockson, whose new biography Lance will hit store shelves in July.

Armstrong proposed to Crow back in 2005, two weeks before her 44th birthday and that evidently did it, pushing Sheryl into mommy overdrive. He said, “She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn’t want that, but I didn’t want that at the time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I’d just had kids (Luke, Grace and Bella). Yet we’re up against her biological clock – that pressure is what cracked it.”

Lance is going to become a daddy again next month, the mother-to-be is Anna Hansen. Doctors were concerned that with Armstrong’s aggressive treatment for testicular cancer, he wouldn’t be able to conceive naturally but they proved the medical profession wrong. Photos of Anna and Lance here.

After the split, Sheryl took matters into her own hands and in 2007 she adopted a baby boy, Wyatt Steven Crow. She and her son live on a 154 acre farm outside of Nashville.

Sheryl Crow Rescues Wild Mustang

Breast cancer survivor Sheryl Crow is truly an advocate for many great causes. Last night she sang at the “Save Lives” concert, in L.A. which promotes breast cancer awareness.

Not only is Sheryl busy singing and standing up for all she believes in, but she also has come to the rescue of a wild mustang and would like other horse and or animal lovers to do the same.

When the star learned of the government’s plan to do away with these beautiful horses she took action.

“There’s legislation going on right now about exterminating these great wild mustangs…(They’re) truly one of the great representatives of our native culture here in America. Wild mustangs are really true to the heritage of this country; they help us to remember who we are…(and) the government is trying to have them run off cliffs and things.”

While Crow is currently touring she has close friends taking care of her mustang but is making provisions to have the horse stay at her ranch in Tennessee.

In May of 2007 Crow adopted a 2-week old son, Wyatt Steven Crow. The two live on a 154 acre ranch in Nashville. Crow dated cyclist Lance Armstrong for several years and the two had plans to marry but in the end went their separate ways.

Now these photos may not all be recent but I think you will get my point. Tan is no longer tan, it’s a weird shade of orange.

I myself am taking on that pale shade of fall and am seriously contemplating going orange. If I decide to take the plunge I will be sure to post a before and after picture. Maybe the “Olly Girls” could set me up.

Sheryl Crow Gets Raw

Their is nothing better than sitting back listening to a great Sheryl Crow CD (well maybe their is but it sounded good). Anyways the new mother is said to be putting out a new album that will hit stores is February. A Source close to Sheryl talked to OK!

“It’s a lot different than her previous work. Where Sheryl’s last album was very safe and geared for Top 40, she takes more risks on this one and it’s a lot more raw.” And health-wise, Sheryl, who successfully battled breast cancer in Feb. 2006, is “doing great!” So what is the 45-year-old’s secret to staying fit? “She doesn’t work out. She’s naturally fit. Maybe she goes running sometimes, but Sheryl’s not hitting the gym and lifting weights or anything, she’s just one of those people that’s almost shaking her foot or moving something and blessed with a high metabolism.”
