Monday Note From Bitten and Bound

Some of you loyal readers may have noticed in the last few day that Bitten and Bound has been experiencing a few technical issues. Early Friday evening we were the unlucky recipients of a hacker. We were able to bring things back on line fairly quickly but are still dealing with a few nagging issues.

We at Bitten and Bound pride ourselves on providing our loyal readers with a great mix of celebrity news balanced against real world topics and people, and on providing exceptional photos that we know you’ll enjoy.

We hope to be publishing new photos with our posts very shortly. So enjoy the site and know that we are grateful for your support, patience and loyalty.

Site Hacked

Ugh. So much for taking the day off. Our day started out so well and with such good traffic volume that we actually decided to take the day off. After returning home around 6pm, I received an email from Meg letting me know the site was running slow.

She was right.

She always is. Everyone send her some love ’cause today is her birthday. We love you Meg. xoxo

Back to the saga. I contacted our hosting company and they reset the server. Now keep in mind that we pay big money for a mac daddy server, so I was none too happy. After a few tests, the site seemed fine and I went about readying myself for a large family get-together.

While at the shindig I got a call from Missy letting me know our site had been hacked. I ran to my car to get my computer, just after having a heart attack.

To make a long story short (too late, I know), our site was hacked, but we seem to have everything under control now thanks to our very accommodating hosting company, Choopa.

Frank, you totally rock and we luv ya man. Frank went above and beyond the call of duty and his job description to help us out and get this situation taken care of quickly. I cannot even imagine the nightmare this could have turned into if we had been with our old hosting company. If this sounds like a plug, it is. But not one they asked for and not one they are even aware of. We are simply grateful to them for the fantastic job they do for us – especially Frank.

Choopa, give this guy a raise!

Bitten and Bound Featured on CBS ‘The Early Show’

Bitten and Bound has received a lot of attention since posting our exclusive story with details of disturbing text messages Sam Lutfi sent to Ken Dungey and Danny Haines.

We began focusing on Lutfi back in December after we received an email from Dungey regarding Britney Spears ‘manager.’ Dungey was instrumental in getting out chilling information regarding Lutfi’s prior restraining orders.

We have since received information from two other sources with threatening text messages from Sam Lutfi. We posted Brianne Patterson’s experience with Lutfi, however, our other source is not ready to come forward just yet. In addition to Bitten and Bound, our source has been talking with CBS after they contacted us for the story they ran this morning on The Early Show.

Unfortunately, I am a technological idiot, so all I have from The Early Show at this point is the screen shot above until I can figure out how to use the video feature on my camera and upload it to my computer.

Pardon Our Dust

Bitten and Bound is going through some changes. You will notice we now have a new look, and this is just the first part of our transformation. We are trying this type of layout before we implement our new web design. So pardon our dust while we get things done around here, and thanks to our regular readers who have stuck by us through all of our growing pains.

Go Vols!

Okay my naughty little ponies, (don’t you just love Craig Ferguson?) I am headed home to TN to watch my beloved UT Vols go up against Southern Miss this weekend. I have given Missy explicit instructions to take the weekend off (which I know she won’t, so show her lots of love).

Server Issues :(

Over the past five days I have been experiencing server issues and have had a significant amount of down time (over 11 hrs of down time so far today). I am researching web hosting options very carefully and will hopefully have this issue resolved by the end of the week. Please hang in there with me.
