Spice Girls Bus Sold on Ebay

The Spice Girls‘ double decker bus that was used in the 1997 movie “Spice World” was sold on Ebay.

The auction ended on October 11, and the winning bid was 3600.00 British pounds.

Ebay description:

COLLECTORS ITEM – would suit music, pop or film memorabilia collector, bus enthusiast or SPICE GIRLS fan!

This is the bus used in the 1997 film SPICEWORLD, THE MOVIE.

Make/model:                                       BRISTOL VRT (SL3)

First Year of Registration:                 1978

The bus was made into good running order last year and the bus was on display at the World Scout Jamboree last year.   The bus is sold with full mechanical preparation and new Ministry of Transport test certificate (class V). The interior is largely clear and can be readied for any kind of interior adaptation or restoration to passenger carrying format.

Originally built to the order of the East Midlands company for services in Nottinghamshire, this bus was eventually acquired for use as a film prop in the SPICE GIRLS film, being driven by Meat Loaf. The interior view seen in the film were all recorded in a studio set; only the front entrance and the outside of the bus were used and changed for the filming . The vehicle was give to the Trust by the film company in 1989. It is hope to restore this bus and present inside the lower deck, a small tribute to the famous five”.

The winning bidder, mgmve61, is located in the United States and joined Ebay on October 8.

Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice and boyfriend of six years, property developer Thomas Starr, are expecting their first bundle of joy. Melanie was the only Spice Girl without a child – now she can happily join in when they all gather with their children.

Melanie announced the good news on her website this morning. The message indicated that the couple are both thrilled to become parents.

Chisholm will be working on new songs for her upcoming solo album in the near future but does plan to take some time off the be a “mum”.

Congratulations to Melanie and Thomas!

Cruz Beckham stole the show during The Spice Girl’s concert at Madison Square Garden on Sunday evening. As is their practice, the women brought their children on stage for their encore and the nearly 3 year old tot busted a couple of moves that delighted the audience.

The show moves on to Philadelphia tonight and then on to Washington D.C. and Hartford CT at the end of this week. They’ll be in Montreal and Toronto Sunday through Tuesday.

Victoria Beckham’s Odd New Years Eve Look

Victoria Beckham and her gorgeous husband, David Beckham, attended a New Years Eve celebration at Claridge’s in London’s Mayfair section. Paparazzi captured the couple as they exited the event and we’re a little surprised by the ghastly, or rather, ghostly appearance of the normally perfect Victoria.

We’ve seen many recent photographs of Posh, who is in the middle of the Spice Girl’s Reunion Tour. The usually perfectly put together celebrity was not only looking decidedly pale, but she had her head wrapped in a vintage turban of some kind. The contrast between head and body was multiple shades different.

Newly honored as one of the Top 10 Beauty Icon’s of 2007, she appears to have let the distinction go to her head – literally. We love the dress but the head wrap is way over the top. Her spray on tan doesn’t seem to be working above the neck.

Daily Mail thought Beckham was trying to portray a mime with her white face. We’re thinking silent film star from back in the day.

Spice Girl Mel B. Is Throwing Herself A Big Wedding

Spice Girl Mel B. and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, have decided that their quicky wedding last year in Las Vegas left them wanting. Wanting what – you ask. A big honking wedding with all the bells and whistles is what Scary Spice is planning for April, according to Page Six.

Mel B. wants to have her 8 year old daughter, Phoenix Chi, by her side this time around. The child is from the singers previous marriage with Jimmy Gulzar. The ex has been making life difficult for the touring Spice Girl.

He has been waging a public court battle to keep their daughter from traveling with the Spice Girls entourage during the much publicized Reunion Tour. The courts ruled in Mel’s favor, and Phoenix Chi has been able to travel with the rest of the group – as long as the child is made available to her father – per his regular visitation schedule.

Mel B. gave birth to new daughter, Angel in early. The baby’s father is Eddie Murphy. The actor denied parentage until DNA testing proved that he was the child’s biological father. Mel also became a contestant on the wildly popular Dancing with the Stars – coming in second to Helio Castroneves and his partner Julianne Hough.

Victoria Beckham’s Wardrobe Malfunction

The Spice Girls dazzled the London crowd at the O2 Arena on Saturday night. Posh Spice was quite literally oozing out of the top of her costume. She appears to have a rather unattractive glob of skin flapping loose on the wrong side of her form fitting corset. Her cup literally runneth over.

There were rumors that Victoria Beckham had her breast implants removed before the tour because she was afraid they would not stay within the confines of her costumes during the dance routines. It looks like that did not happen. I’m guessing she will be making some kind of adjustment after she opens the Daily Mail and sees this picture.

Posh and her four singing sisters wowed the crowd of 20,000 fans. Last nights performance was the first of 17 nights in London. Emma Bunton appeared none the worse for wear – apparently recovered from the injury that put her on crutches earlier in the week.

David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham are in London for The Spice Girls concert this evening. They were photographed with their boys at London’s Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz Beckham ice skated as their parents looked on. The Beckham family, who relocated to Los Angeles when David signed on with LA Galaxy, will be spending Christmas with their extended family in London.

Posh Spice would have been filming with The Spice Girls for the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, but they have postponed that taping until Emma Bunton has recovered from an injury that has put her on crutches.

The Spice Girls, Melanie Chisolm, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton kicked off their reunion tour in Vancouver on Sunday.

Roughly 16,000 fans of the sold out concert were treated to eight costume changes while the Spice Girls performed hits such as “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life.”

The elaborate choreography even included a bit of pole dancing.

Chickenpox Hit Spice Girls Kids on eve of World Tour

“The Spice Girls” have personal issues to deal with on the eve of their world tour kickoff. It seems that Victoria Beckham’s boys have developed chickenpox and have spread the childhood malady to Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell.

The singers have been feverishly putting the finishing touches on their routines and costumes. All were in the habit of bringing the kids along to run around while they do their work. That is how it all got started. Cruz Beckham developed his spots first and before long 18 month old Bluebell was “pelted”, according to her mother’s account this morning on British TV.

Between the five women, they have seven children. It could be a long siege of illness for that kid pack. But that won’t stop the women. They will be in their places on stage when the tour launches this weekend.

The Spice Girls world tour begins on Sunday in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Spice Girls Contest: Win Mel B.’s Final DWTS Performance False Eyelashes!

“Dancing with the Stars” second place finisher Mel B. thanked her four biggest fans today for their love and support – the four being her Spice Girls singing partners.

The four were quite vocal on Monday nights show when the judges didn’t give Mel B. and partner Maksim a perfect 30. One of the judges, Carrie Ann, actually acknowledged their booing. The group concensus was that their friend and working partner Mel B. should have won the competition.

We have a theory about why Helio and Julianne took top honors. Quite simply, the world is smitten with Julianne. As evidenced by today’s blog traffic, Julianne is causing the search engines to spin like crazy. Unfortunately, that’s what can happen when you let the fans weigh in on the outcome. If it had been a judges only decision – it is likely Mel B. would have taken the trophy.
