In a UFC 106 rematch of light heavyweight champs on November 21 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Forrest Griffin was victorious. The judges scored the three round bout 29-28 for Tito Ortiz, 30-27 for Griffin and 29-28 for Griffin.
The pair last met in 2006 at UFC 59, where Ortiz won a controversial split decision. [...]

Professional golfer Michelle Wie won her first LPGA event on Sunday. Her breakthrough victory came at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she won by a two-stroke margin over Paula Cramer. Manny Paquiao was victorious over Miguel Cotto on November 14 in Las Vegas. The TKO came 55 seconds into round 12, dethroning Cotto as WBO Welterweight Champion. Pacquiao made history as the first boxer in history to win seven world titles in seven weight divisions.
