It has been seven months since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got their quickie divorce in New York City and it appears the A-list actor has started playing the dating game.

Cruise and Manhattan restaurant manager Cynthia Jorge, 26, were seen dancing together last week at hot spot Le Baron.

The dark-eyed brunette manages Beauty & Essex on the Lower East Side and she recently slipped Tom her business card while he was dining at the business establishment. A few days later they hooked up for drinks and dancing.

Perez Hilton‘s eyewitness reports, “He was mesmerized by Cynthia. She had her hair in a bun, wore tight black pants and looked gorgeous. At one point, they began grinding together. It was straight out of Dirty Dancing. Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten.”

The ‘Top Gun’ celeb isn’t really a fly by the seat of the pants kind of guy — except for that time on Oprah’s couch. His relationship strategy is normally well orchestrated and heavily scrutinized by the Church of Scientology. We shall see…

Tom Cruise Files $50 Million Lawsuit in L.A. Court

Tom Cruise authorized the filing of a $50 million lawsuit against Life & Style magazine for publishing a false claim about his relationship with daughter Suri.

According to his lawyer Bert Fields, a defamation claim was filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The litigation is the result of a false story claiming that Cruise abandoned his six-year-old daughter after Katie Holmes filed for divorce.

Fields released this statement: “Tom doesn’t go around suing people. But when these sleaze peddlers try to make money with disgusting lies about his relationship with his child, you bet he’s going to sue.”

“These serial defamers are foreign-owned companies with their global headquarters in Hamburg. They take money from unsuspecting Americans by selling their malicious garbage. Having to pay a libel judgment may slow them down. Tom will undoubtedly give the money to charity. He always has.”

Tom Cruise surfaced in Croatia Friday night when he and a group of friends, including a mystery blonde, dined at a bar and eatery in Hvar on the Adriatic Sea.

The group left the Lady S yacht in a small dingy and motored to shore to enjoy an evening of drinks, food and conversation.

Several men clustered on one side of Cruise but he seemed particularly interested in an attractive female who sat next to him and appeared to be hanging on his every word.

After dining the group boarded the small boat once again for the trip back to Lady S, where Tom is staying. The actor took time to pose with a group of women who appeared to be fans.

According to divorce documents, Katie Holmes valued freedom over monetary gain while negotiating the end of her union with Tom Cruise. What could have been the divorce from hell turned out to be swift and relatively painless.

The divorce is officially final leaving Katie with nothing more than child support and some firm rules regarding her daughter’s education and her religious upbringing.

TMZ is reporting that Katie did not request spousal support or attempt to subvert the prenup that protected his $250 million fortune.

The judge ordered Cruise to pay $33,333 each month by electronic transfer until Suri turns 18. The $400,000 a year child support payments will total $4.8 million by the time his daughter is ready to head to college.

Cruise will also cover the cost of the child’s medical, dental, insurance, education, college and extracurricular costs.

The agreement stipulates that Suri Cruise will not attend a “residential school.” One of the reasons Holmes reportedly ended the marriage was because Cruise was talking about sending their daughter to a Scientology training center.

It is clear that Holmes got what she wanted most … security for her child and the ability to raise her in a relatively normal environment. Case closed.

Tom Cruise’s teenage son Connor Cruise is sporting a new ‘do and shared it with his followers early this morning on his Twitter page.

The 17-year-old tagged it simply, “Chopped.”

His new look features nearly-shaved sides with a stenciled design etched above his ear.

No word on how his dad, or mom Nicole Kidman, reacted to the bold new style.

Perhaps the part-time D.J. is acting out in defiance against Katie Holmes, the woman he called “mom” who has suddenly upset the family dynamic by filing for divorce.
