Candice Crawford Dating Tony Romo (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Former Miss Missouri Candice Crawford is reported to be dating Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. The sister of actor Chace Crawford is the weekend host of the Dallas Cowboys sports show Special Edition.

There aren’t any couple photos YET, but reports buzzing the net indicate the pair were spotted together. Crawford’s bio says she has a “passion for sports” and she is a gorgeous blonde – which seems to be Romo’s weakness if his past history is any indication. He recently dumped Jessica Simpson on the eve of her 29th birthday, resulting in the cancellation of her Barbie and Ken themed bash.

Crawford is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. The 22-year-old held the Miss Missouri USA title in 2008. She had one previous brush with the law when she received an underage drinking ticket prior to the pageant.

Jessica Simpson graces the cover of Glamour magazine’s September 2009 cover. The issue hits newsstands on August 11 and her interview covers a wide range of subjects including her love life and body image.

The most interesting aspect of the article is that she was still in a relationship with Tony Romo at the time of the photo shoot and sit-down interview. That being said, she made some prophetic statements about their relationship.

On the subject of regrets, Simpson said, “I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable — it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love Tony, and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”

Natalie Smith, who attended a Jessica Simpson concert with Tony Romo in February, is reportedly involved in an “intimate relationship” with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

29-year-old Romo, who dumped Simpson the night before her 29th birthday, took Smith, 22, backstage to meet the country crooner at her concert on February 6.

“We hung out for, like 10 to 15 minutes, backstage,” Smith tells Us Weekly. “She was cool and nice.”

Smith, the daughter of the associate athletic director at Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University, has been having an “emotional affair” with the football stud, according to multiple sources.

“They’ve always flirted and texted each other. They had phone conversations one to two months before the breakup,” said a source.

Jessica Simpson sang the National Anthem yesterday at the start of the Earl Woods Memorial Pro-Am in Bethesda, MD after which her boyfriend Tony Romo played a round of golf with Tiger Woods. The one-day tournament was held at Congressional Country Club.

The Pro-Am was the kick off leading up to the 2009 AT&T National $6 million PGA Tour event that will be held during the 4th of July weekend in the nation’s capital. Once again this year, tournament host Tiger Woods will pay tribute to the U.S. Military.

Jessica Simpson graces the cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s June 2009 issue. The cover headline begs the question “You Call This Fat?” It goes on to say that she sheds her mom jeans and fights back. See full photo shoot here.

Simpson was part of a huge firestorm following the publication of some unflattering photos of the country singer at a chili cookoff. Check out her ‘fat’ pics here. For her VF interview she said, “When it comes to media criticism, that’s just something that I have had to train myself–literally train myself–to ignore.”

Jessica’s record label recently dropped her so she will have more time to focus on her NFL quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo. He was not on the practice field on Saturday when over 70 players and coaches were caught under the collapsed roof of their bubble structure. See details here.

For all you die-hard Jessica Simpson fans, we thought you might want to know that she is always busy on Sunday and Monday so you may want to plan around those days if you’re looking to have the celeb appear at any of your local community events.

Over the weekend Simpson was at the 99.9 Kiss Country’s Annual Chili Cookoff which was held at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida. It must have been a pretty big day for Jess. Country star Alan Jackson and several other singers were also on hand to entertain a crowd of 30,000.

When Jessica took the stage she gushed some about her “football” boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. She dedicated her song You’re My Sunday to Tony and told the crowd that he was waiting for her in Dallas. She also shared the fact that HE is her Sunday and Monday schedule and makes her very happy. Awwww.

Before jetting off, she reportedly did a meet and greet with 25 fans.

Tony Romo Collapsed After Sunday Game

On Sunday the Dallas Cowboys, led by QB Tony Romo, suffered a stunning 44-6 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles after he threw three turnovers. Back in the locker room Romo continued to have a bad day by reportedly collapsing in the shower.

Athletic trainer Jim Maurer rushed into the shower area and eventually helped the player to his feet after he refused to be loaded on a stretcher that had been brought to the scene. He was taken into the training room where he was able to regroup before heading to the after-game press conference.

When Romo finally reached the podium, he would not answer questions regarding his health. There is speculation that the star quarterback may have sufffered a rib injury during the second half of the game.

We are betting girlfriend Jessica Simpson will be by his side playing nursemaid.

Oh brother….country singer Jessica Simpson was scheduled to be in New York last night to sing “Happy Birthday” to Elmo at Macy’s 150th anniversary party. She was way more than fashionably late, citing the weather as her excuse. She arrived just as the gig was wrapping up.

When the singer finally arrived at the event, which was attended by celebrities Eva Mendes, Tommy Hilfiger and Martha Stewart, she was very apologetic. Jessica lamented: “I wish I could be God and control the weather.”

If that wasn’t bad enough, she went on to say that her boyfriend Tony Romo had hoped that she would not be able to make the event because he had planned a special evening for the two of them. In true Jessica fashion, she told People magazine: “Tony was just praying that I wouldn’t make it out. I’m like, ‘Honey, I have to go.’”

Blah! We’re guessing that Elmo was thrilled that the singer didn’t sing. Word has it, he had earplugs in his pocket just in case.

Carrie Underwood is undeniably one of the hottest country singers on the planet, so why is she having such a hard time finding a meaningful relationship? In the September issue of Allure magazine Carrie opens up about the trials and tribulations of dating and finding a sincere man.

“You never really know why someone wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you. I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish no one wanted anything from you.”

Underwood clarified the ending of her relationship with Gossip Girl’s star Chace Crawford and said that they just simply didn’t work out, nothing bad tore them apart. But when it came to talking about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, currently hanging with Jessica Simpson, that was a different story.

“We were both small town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame.”

In past interviews Carrie claimed that her relationship with Romo was never all that serious but it sounds like maybe he still holds some feelings for the country star. Underwood said she still hears from the football player and that when he calls sometimes she answers and sometimes she doesn’t.

Oh, I hope Jessica Simpson doesn’t read her interview in Allure. She’s not the most stable girl where Underwood is concerned – case in point the t-shirt that dissed Carrie Underwood.
