Travis Barker & Shanna Moakler Split After Brawl

On and off again couple Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler finalized their divorce in 2006, but never really ended their relationship. Reps for both have confirmed that they have indeed split after a blow out fight Tuesday night that required police intervention.

What caused the fight? Travis was suspicious of Shanna having an affair with actor Gerard Butler while he was recovering from a near fatal plane crash. Shanna and Travis reconciled after the September crash amid rumors that continued to swirl regarding Moakler and Gerard, who were seen getting cozy while dining out in October.

A friend of Butler says that there was never a relationship and that the two were merely friends. Rep’s for Travis and Shanna have both made statements.

Barkers rep said, “After surviving the plane crash, his driving force in life is the love he has for his kids. He is tired of all the drama and is ready to move on.”

Moakler’s rep countered, “They did break up but Shanna never cheated on Travis while he was in the hospital. Furthermore, Shanna is tired of playing out their personal relationship in the press.”

Police were called in because Shanna was reportedly acting irrational and freaking out. No charges were filed.

DJ AM Just Missed Second Plane Crash

Sixth sense? Call it what you will but Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM was supposed to be on Continental flight 3407 that crashed just 5 miles from the Buffalo Airport on February 13th, killing 50 people.

Just last September Adam and former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker were the only surviving passengers on a Lear Jet heading to the Van Nuys airport. The crash killed four people.

On Friday the 13th, Goldstein was to board flight 3407 and evidently had a bad feeling and decided to drive to his destination instead. TMZ is reporting that Adam said that from here on out his flying days are over and will only book events that he would be able to drive to.

We are thinking that is a good idea!

DJ AM and Travis Barker New Year’s Eve Reunion

This is great news for the only two survivors of the horrific plane crash that claimed the lives of four others. Drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM are reuniting to perform for the New Year’s Nation’s Los Angeles New Year’s Eve party at The Lot in West Hollywood.

New Year’s Eve parties nationwide will be able to broadcast the reunion, which will be streamed on the Internet. This will be the first performance for Travis and Adam since the crash. The duo last combined their talents at a free concert which hosted 10,000 fans in Columbia, South Carolina.

Travis posted a message on his blog over Thanksgiving weekend, saying:

“I wanted to say thanks…and share my gratitude for everything I’ve been blessed with. Family, friends, and continued support from everyone. Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living. My best to everyone.”

Travis Barker Files Lawsuit Two Months After Plane Crash

Travis Barker, punk musician and former Blink-182 drummer, has filed a lawsuit against several companies whose actions he claims caused the plane crash in South Carolina on September 19, 2008. He was badly burned and several of his friends were killed after the charter Learjet burst into flames after an aborted takeoff.

Barker is suing Global Exec Aviation, a Long Beach charter company, as well as Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and an airplane maintenance company. The suit seeks damages for pain and suffering, disfigurement, loss of earnings as well as medical and legal expenses.

The suit claims that the companies named are responsible for improperly operating and maintaining the Learjet that overshot the runway and burst into flames. The lawsuit further alleges that the Learjet was ‘defective’ and faults pilots, claiming they were improperly trained and should have tried to take off. Two pilots were killed, along with Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, and his bodyguard, Charles Moore Still.

In a statement, Goodyear spokesman Ed Markey said it was “unfortunate” the suit was filed before the NTSB investigation is finalized. “It is too early to speculate on a cause.”

Thelma Martin Still, who lost her son in the crash, has joined the lawsuit, seeking damages for grief and sorrow, funeral expenses and loss of earnings.

Travis Barker Says Goodbye to MTV’s TRL

If you watched the last episode of MTV’s Total Request Live last night then you were in for a treat. Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker phoned in and spoke with Carson Daly.

Barker, who sounded tired and a little slower than normal, said “I feel better every day” and thanked his fans for all of their support during this healing time.

Travis and DJ AM were the only two survivors in a plane crash on September 19th that killed 4 other people. Barker spent a month in the hospital after suffering severe burns.

Barker is getting back into the groove and has been in the studio working. Asked about his return to playing the drums, he said, “It was like riding a bike. It was really exciting to know I still had my chops.”

We are excited that Travis is doing so well and can’t wait to see what he has been working on.

Travis Barker posted hospital pictures and thanked fans for their support on his Myspace blog late Saturday night.

Barker, who was in a plane crash September 19, that killed four people and left him and DJ AM critically injured, gives an update on his progress, saying his recovery has been slow, but he is finally able to move all the fingers on his right hand.

The Blink-182 and +44 drummer faces his seventh surgery on Monday, and despite ex-wife Shanna Moakler’s claims of hospital mistreatment, Travis says both hospitals have treated him “amazingly well.”

The entire post on Barker’s Myspace page reads:

“Thank you.

I want to give my deepest thanks to everyone who has helped deal with the current situation. First and foremost, Chris and Che were my friends. I would give up anything to have them here with us today, healthy and happy. To call them my employees does them such a disservice, as they were so much more than that. Chris was my best friend before anything else, and I can never put into words how much he will be missed. Che was an amazing person as well, and I was honored to have him in my life.

I am simply amazed and will be forever grateful for all the support everyone has shown to Chris and Che’s families. It’s a testament to how many lives they touched in a positive way.

Like the doctors said from the beginning, its been a slow recovery process. I am coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday. Today I finally was able to move all my fingers on my right hand. Every step seems huge at this point, and I’m doing EVERYTHING I can possibly do to get back to my kids. Yes, I did start eating meat again, but if it helps me to be home holding my little humans sooner, then it’s all worth it. The staff here are all bomb! Dr. Grossman and his staff are the best. The BOSS Barbara, and nurses Betty, Jay, Emily, Julio, Lolita, and Stephanie (with the best scrubs ever!) are all taking the best care of me.

My good friend Armen has been kind enough to save me from the hospital food, and brings Jamba Juice, Wahoos, or whatever else I need to keep my calories and protein levels high.

Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I’ve been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia. The hospitals I’ve been treated at are THE BEST.

My friends and family have been amazing. My pops has been with me ANY time I need him. My sisters, James, Skinhead Rob, Daniel, Hoover, Armen and of course Ricardo and Nicole, have all shown amazing support. JD and Mark Hoppus both took the time to come visit and offer their support as well. Estevan Oriol even came in with a calendar.

Saying ‘thank you’ to all these guys just wouldn’t be enough…

I got to see AM the other day. Seeing him after he was discharged was an inspiration. I saw just how awesome the doctors’ work here is, and got to see how well he is doing. I am so happy to see him doing well, and we are both so lucky and grateful that we are alive today.

I’m even using some of this time to help design the summer ‘09 Famous line [i.e. Barker's clothing line, Famous Stars and Straps]. Maxx, Jose, Bill have been awesome helping to keep the machine going. These are some seriously dedicated people, and I’m lucky to call them friends.

Now I’m just counting the days until I can leave. I can’t wait to get home to play drums with my son, and go for bike rides with my daughter. I cant wait to see the pictures from Landon’s ‘Jack and Sally Nightmare Before Christmas’ birthday party that we had for him today. I am bummed that I couldn’t be there, but thank God I’ll be around to see many, many more.

Travis Barker Says Don’t Believe Shanna Moakler

Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker left a nice update on his MySpace page talking about his close friends who were killed in a recent plane crash and how he is doing today.

Despite all of the press that proclaimed that his ex-wife Shanna Moakler was not leaving his side, Barker paints a different story saying:

“Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I’ve been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and in Georgia. The hospitals I’ve been treated at are THE BEST.”

Strange that Shanna is being called out as a rumor starter – oh, wait…no it doesn’t. I almost forgot about the Kim Kardashian feud and the Paris Hilton feud and the….you get my point.

In the wake of losing two close friends, Chris Baker and Charles “Che” Still, Travis has commissioned a shirt to be designed and will give 100% of the profits to their families. Check it out here.

Travis Barker, the former drummer for the band Blink 182, is remembering his close friends Chris Baker and Charles “Che” Still who died in the tragic September plane crash. Barker and good friend DJ Adam Goldstein were the only survivors while 4 others lost their lives.

Already the owner of the famous clothing line Stars and Strips, Barker has commissioned the creation of special t-shirts with the names Chris and Che on the front. He is donating 100% of the profits to their families. Chris was Barker’s personal assistant and Che was a security guard.

The sale of the shirts begins on October 13th and they will be available for a limited time on Barker’s website. Check it out here. The design of the shirts was done by pro skater Felix Arguelles and famous artist Maxx “maxx242″ Gramajo.

Travis Barker is heard pleading for help in a videotape following the fiery plane crash that killed four people and sent Barker and Adam DJ AM Goldstein to the hospital in critical condition.

Travis Barker can be heard crying for help on the police dash-cam video, taken in the aftermath of the fatal plane crash.

“Get an ambulance man. Get an ambulance. Ahhhhh,” Barker is heard pleading in the horrifying tape.

It has now been learned that a faulty tire may have caused the deadly crash.
