Highest Paid Prime-Time Women 2009 According to Forbes

Heads up Oprah, Tyra Banks is raking in the money too. Forbes came out with their highest paid women on prime-time TV for 2009 and the top earner may surprise you. With her daytime talk show and prime-time America’s Next Top Model, Tyra tops the list with earnings of $30 million last year!

Coming in second was Katherine Heigl, who pulled in $18 million for her work on Grey’s Anatomy as well as several film projects. Both women are fierce and like to shake things up with a little controversy from time to time just to keep life interesting.

Eva Longoria Parker $9 million

Levi Johnston: Tyra Banks Interview VIDEO

Levi Johnston’s candid interview on The Tyra Banks Show aired today. The teenager and Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol Palin are the parents of a three month old son, Tripp Johnston.

The young couple called off their engagement recently and Levi has been sharing his story on network television, much to the displeasure of Bristol and her family.

The interview, taped last week, included Levi’s mother Sherry L. Johnston and his sister Mercedes Johnston. The three family members said that the relationship has broken down between Bristol and Levi to the point where the Palin’s are keeping the child away from the Johnston’s. Levi said that some conversations with his ex-girlfriend are better than others, but that mostly she is in a bad mood when they speak. The Johnston’s greatest source of displeasure seems to be the fact that they can’t take Tripp out of the Palin home.

Palin spokesperson Meghan Stapleton released a statement on Friday, in anticipation of the Tyra Banks interview: “We’re disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship. Bristol’s focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education and advocating abstinence.”

Tiffany Shepherd: Fired Bikini Teacher Still Looking For Work

Tiffany Shepherd made national headlines earlier this year when she was fired from her teaching position in the St. Lucie County School District in Florida for engaging in a part time pursuit that involved fishing charter excursions and bikinis. That was in April and she is still unable to get another teaching position.

The Science teacher was reported to school officials, likely by a disgruntled co-worker, for her weekend job as a bikini mate with a charter fishing boat operation. Shepherd, a single mother of three young children, took on the part time job to help make ends meet and get a little sunshine as part of the bargain.

She appeared on The Tyra Banks Show earlier this week and received a good deal of sympathy from the supermodel. Tyra Banks questioned her about why the school district thought it was so bad to wear a bikini. Shepherd acknowledged that there were allegations of her photos appearing on porn websites. She denies that she was involved in those activities.

Early on it was reported that she was considering a lawsuit against St. Lucie County School District. It is unclear whether she still plans to move forward.

Janet Jackson was interviewed recently by Tyra Banks for an upcoming segment on her award winning daytime talk show The Tyra Banks Show. The gorgeous model also hosts the popular reality show America’s Next Top Model.

Banks and Jackson huddled backstage in Jackson’s dressing room before the singer’s performance at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on September 19, 2008. Not long afterward, Jackson was stricken with a mystery illness that has caused the cancellation of her Rock Witchu Tour.

Latest reports indicate the celebrity has been suffering Vestibular Migraines, which bring on vertigo symptoms of dizziness and nausea. Janet is taking the advice of her personal physician and has been trying to get well enough to get back on the concert circuit. Latest word indicates she may be able to resume her activities by the weekend.

Janet’s eye makeup seems a little extreme. She looks like she might be trying to look like Catwoman. Check it out in our photo gallery below.

Tyra Banks has had wax work likenesses unveiled twice this month. Her first unveiling was at Madame Tussauds Washington D.C. Now a totally different looking wax work has been put on display at Madame Tussauds New York City.

We’re confused? It seems that each of the eight wax museums are working independently of each other, rather than mass producing the finished product so that each location can show the same likeness. Interesting.

The eight locations are in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Amsterdam, New York City, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, London and Berlin.

It looks like New York City wanted to show Tyra in her glory days as a top supermodel while the D.C. museum was keeping it real with her current look. Either way she looks great.
