Nick Lachey & Vanessa Minnillo are Back On

Well, it’s official and it came right from the singer’s mouth. Yesterday on Good Day Philadelphia Nick Lachey admitted that he and Vanessa Minnillo are once again a couple.

From the sound of it, the two weren’t apart for very long. They originally split in June but by early August there were many sightings of the couple and there was noticeable PDA going on.

When Nick was asked about his relationship status he said, “I am happy in a relationship. I was single for a minute, there, and then we’ve kinda patched things up.” He went on to say that Vanessa is smart….even smarter than him.

What is Nick up to these days? Currently his is touring the country on a bus with reverse auction site Winnet.com. The website was co-founded by Lachey as part of his Everybody Wins Tour, which benefits Feeding America.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey End Relationship (PHOTOS)

After the actress repeatedly denied rumors of an imminent split, a rep for Vanessa Minnillo has finally confirmed that the model and television star has indeed ended her three-year relationship with actor Nick Lachey. A prepared statement said: “They have amicably split but remain good friends who care greatly for one another…it was the right thing for both of them to do.”

In April 2009 the buzz indicated that Minnillo and her 2008 Disaster Movie co-star Matt Lanter were having a fling. The actress down-played those rumors, saying the relationship with Lachey was solid and even hinted that an engagement was possible…which, as it turned out, was just smoke and mirrors.

The couple became an item in 2006 following closely on the heels of Lachey’s divorce from Jessica Simpson in 2005.

Over the weekend celebrity couple Nick Lachey and his gorgeous girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo were seen out and about with friends. If Nick had only rolled up his jeans they could have been twins.

The couple were reportedly enjoying a night out at Baby Blue’s BBQ in West Hollywood. Nick and Vanessa must have worn bibs to keeps their white t-shirts clean or they are a couple of pro’s at eating BBQ.

Where in the World is Nick Lachey?

Has anyone seen Nick Lachey lately? The last time we saw the former 98 Degrees singer was back in September when he co-hosted the Live with Regis and Kelly show.

The reason for our curiosity is because today is Nick’s 35th birthday. Hopefully tomorrow we will have some great photos of him celebrating his ‘b’day with girlfriend and former MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo, who is rarely photographed out in public.

One has to wonder if Lachey’s former wife Jessica Simpson is the reason for his need for privacy. When the two were together, their union was open for the world to scrutinize on the MTV reality show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

Is it just me or did Miss Teen USA 1998, Vanessa Minnillo slowly fall off of Hollywood’s radar screen when she started seeing former 98 Degrees singer, Nick Lachey? It is a rare occasion when we see her out and about and when we do she is usually being pulled around by Lachey.

Minnillo does have a role in the latest spoof movie Disaster along with two other hotties, Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian. Probably not going to get her an award for Best Actress but hey she’s working!

Next up for the up and coming actress is the movie Redefining Love which will hit the big screen in 2009. Hopefully we will see more of Vanessa and her fun loving attitude soon.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey were out and about in Los Angeles last night. The couple were photographed at Katsuya restaurant and later at the Crown nightclub in Hollywood.

Minnillo was crowned Miss Teen USA in 1998 and has enjoyed steady work as an on-air television personality for such networks as FOX, ESPN and MTV. She has also been a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. She suffered some embarrassing publicity last year when a photo surfaced showing Minnillo and Lindsay Lohan posing provocatively with a knife.

Lachey is a singer, songwriter and actor who was married to Jessica Simpson until that union ended in divorce in 2006. The musician owns 1/3 of the Tacoma Rainiers baseball team – top farm club for the Seattle Mariners.

Lachey and pal Matt Leinart, Arizona Cardinals QB, made news when they were photographed at an underage drinking party with some hot college women. His latest ABC gig is set to premiere on July 20th when he will host High School Musical: Summer Session.

The couple moved in together in April 2007 after dating for a year. Rumors have circulated that they are engaged, and the blogs even reported their wedding late last year – though that tidbit turned out to be false.

Former host of MTV’s “Total Request Live,” and current correspondent for Entertainment Tonight Vanessa Minnillo took her puppy for a walk, or should we say drug it through Soho, New York City.

I think her pooch was looking at the latest fashions and was trying to get mama’s attention to go in and take a look.

We haven’t seen too much of Minnillo since August of last year, when photos of Vanessa and her boyfriend Nick Lachey surfaced of them naked in a hot tub acting, well… like two people in love.

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey’s plans for keeping their wedding a secret didn’t work out so well.

The couple headed to the Bahamas this weekend to wed at one of the Carlyle hotels. Minnillo’s entourage arrived on Friday according to FoxNews.com Pop Tarts columnist Hollie McKay.

I’m sure throngs of paparazzi are swarming the Bahamas as we speak.

Lachey’s ex, Jessica Simpson said in an interview earlier this year that she was hurt when Nick jumped back into the dating scene so early after their split. I can’t imagine what she must be feeling about the news of his nuptials. Ouch.

Vanessa Minnillo is looking for some excitement in her career. The TV interviewer and actress would love to be the next Bond Girl.

Minnillo got her start in the beauty pageant arena – winning the 1998 Miss Teen USA title. She actually held a dual honor as Miss Congeniality. Simply stated – she was gorgeous and friendly.

The actress hosted Total Request Live on MTV from 2003 to 2007. She also served as a New York based correspondent on Entertainment Tonight. She was a finalist on E!’s competition to find a replacement for Brooke Burke as host for the show Wild On. She has also portrayed a sexy student, a cheerleader and a hot girl on a variety of sitcoms. She had one sustained role on the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful where she played Amanda Wexler.

Vanessa has graced the covers of Maxim, Shape and Lucky among others. She has done print work for BONGO jeans and Kohl’s department stores.

So the woman hasn’t been sitting around. She dates actor Nick Lachey, ex of Jessica Simpson. The two have been photographed widely and appear to be enjoying their relationship. So what more could Minnillo want? According to the actress, “I’ve got some action adventures coming up and I’m so excited to get physically involved. I love the Bond Girls. They’re fierce.”

Nick Lachey Has Been Busy Rebuilding

Nick Lachey recently celebrated his birthday with Vanessa Minnillo in Las Vegas. The 34 year old acknowledges that 2007 has been a rebuilding year for him following his breakup and divorce from Jessica Simpson.

Lachey says that he has learned and grown from the difficult experience. He believes that heartbreak can be a powerful tool to draw from.

The positive news is that he feels regenerated with his music, the studio and life in general. He is currently working on a new album that he hopes to release in 2008.
