Kyla Weber, a 29-year-old commercial real estate agent from Canada, may soon be walking down the aisle with “Wedding Crashers” star Vince Vaughn.

According to a friend of Vaughn’s, the 38-year-old actor has bought a $125,000, 4-carat engagement ring, and plans to pop the question over New Year’s.

“Vince is ready to get married and has been for a while,” said the friend. “He wants to start a family.”

Vince had already succeeded in convincing Kyla to relocate to California. “Kyla can work anywhere, so that’s no problem. She’s more worried about making friends, but Vince has a ton of them. Fortunately, she likes them, so leaving home for Vince has been a good move,” says a source.

The couple met in May through a movie producer friend of Vince’s while Kyla was visiting pals in Venice Beach.

They were first spotted together in August, holding hands and dining with friends in Los Feliz before attending a Dolly Parton concert.

In September Vince took Kyla to Chicago to meet the parents. The four were seen in a restaurant dining on sushi and sharing a bottle of Quintessa wine. “They were sitting close together at the table, holding hands and being affectionate,” said a witness at the restaurant.

The pair were seen the following week shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles. “They were holding hands and laughing with each other,” said an onlooker.

Vaughn has confirmed he is off the market, but has offered few details. “I don’t talk much about private matters,” he told USA Today. “But I am in a very happy, serious, committed relationship.”
