Will Ferrell wears a money suit at MTV Movie Awards

Will Ferrell got ‘Kanye’d’ last night while accepting the Comedic Genius Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at Sony Picture Studios in Los Angeles.

Interrupting the funnyman’s speech was ‘Parks and Recreation’ celeb Aubrey Plaza, who stormed the stage with drink in hand for an brazenly unscripted attempt to promote her new movie.

She tried to wrestle his Golden Popcorn statue away before the startled comedian asked her, “Are you ok?”

At that point she returned to her seat.  The camera panned over her for a closeup that revealed the name of her new movie scrawled in black marker across her chest — ‘#The To Do List.’

Ferrell graciously thanked her for a “perfectly executed” bit.  It turns out he was totally in the dark regarding the stunt and it didn’t take long for the actress to be ejected from the event.

Will Ferrell plays it cool

Early this morning Plaza joked on Twitter, “Thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned! #mtvmovieawards #chrisbosh #thesecret”

Will Ferrell will eat garbage, human toenails or even your underpants if you go to the polls and cast your vote for president.

In a new YouTube clip, the funnyman jokes, “Hi, I’m Will Ferrell… comedian, actor, founder of Facebook, and I will do anything to get you to go out and vote November 6th.  I am not kidding.  Hungry?  How about a home cooked meal.  You need a guy to help you move a couch? Done.  I’ve even got my own van.”

“If you agree to vote in this election I will personally give you a tattoo.  Fair warning… I do not know how to draw.”

“I’ll do a dance just for you.”  He then demonstrates before adding,  “That was just a taste.  If you want the full buffet, you are going to have to vote.  If you vote I’ll eat anything you tell me to.”

Romney supporters will want to stop the video at the 1 minute mark … before Ferrell asks you to Vote Obama.  Democrats will want to view the final 17 seconds.

No matter which candidate you support, be sure to exercise your civil duty by casting YOUR VOTE!!

Twitter and Facebook went into overdrive last night after Will Ferrell did a guest spot with Conan O’Brien and announced plans for an Anchorman sequel.

The return of Ron Burgundy in Anchorman 2 was big news indeed and Ferrell’s way of breaking the news was to make his grand entrance dressed in his newsman attire and playing a jazz flute.

Although he kept the announcement brief we have heard that Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner will be joining the cast but no word yet on Christina Applegate.

Shocking as it may seem to sports fans, some people watch the Super Bowl simply to check out the ads.  Doritos Sling Baby is leading the rest of the competition in the USA Today Super Bowl Admeter Poll.

Unless you live in Nebraska you missed Will Ferrell’s regional Old Milwaukee commercial.

The comedic actor walks slowly through a soybean field, catches a can of beer midair, opens it and says “Old M.”  Yep that’s it and then it cut to the news.

Ferrell has actually made several entertaining ad clips for Old Milwaukee, free of charge.

Will Ferrell is the newest pitchman for Old Milwaukee beer and he’s doing it for free because he has a passion for the brew.

The comedic actor approached Pabst Brewing about promoting their product and they gave him free reign with the humorous ads.

Daren Metropoulos, co-owner of Pabst said, “We gave him the freedom to pursue his creative vision and produce these spots with a local vibe.”

Famous for his portrayal of Frank the Tank in Old School, he filmed a series of intentionally grainy commercials in Davenport, Iowa several months ago.

The company has launched the ads as a region campaign seen by television viewers in the five Quad Cities located in Iowa and Illinois.  Beer lovers and Ferrell fans have since discovered the commercials on YouTube.

A variation of the ads may well end up on the Funny or Die website as branded entertainment.  Many believe that was Ferrell’s real motivation when he pitched the project to Pabst.
