Miley Cyrus thrust out her tongue and used a foam finger as a sex prop during her controversial VMA performance Sunday night, stripping down to a flesh-colored wet-look latex bra and underwear for a twerky stage romp with Robin Thicke.
Kevin Hart joked after the performance of the former Disney star and ‘Blurred Lines’ artist, “Miley better go get a pregnancy test after all that grinding.”
The New York Times reported, “The shambolic, trickster-esque performance by Ms. Cyrus, to whom no one has apparently said “no” for the last six months or so, included plenty of lewdness and a molestation of Robin Thicke.”
According to NY Daily News, “She was working hard to bag the sleaze award of the night.”
Not everyone was turned off. Billboard editorial director, Bill Werde, thought the performance was spot on. He said, “Guys, Miley Cyrus is an all-star hot mess for a hot mess pop moment. She doesn’t care what you think and that’s her brand and she just delivered.”
Cyrus opted to blow the awards show before her category was announced. She tweeted, “Leaving the VMAs. No it’s not over. I’m no psychic but congrats @onedirection #songofthesummer”
She later posted a decidedly offensive photo that she captioned, “#BANGERZ #longassfingerz” – check it out here.
