ABC has announced that Cougar Town has halted production temporarily to accommodate the shows star, Courteney Cox Arquette, who is dealing with an undisclosed family matter.
Some are speculating that Cox may be having a problem pregnancy, but so far there has been no word from her rep.
The 45-year-old actress plays a newly single 40-year-old mother on the hunt for new experiences. Her co-stars include Busy Philipps and Christa Miller.
Cox is married to actor David Arquette. The couple have a five-year-old daughter Coco Arquette. The actress reported some time ago that her biological clock was ticking and that she and David would like to have another child.

Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis, frequently on the wrong side of the law, wants access to two of his bank accounts containing millions that the IRS has frozen.
The IRS has seized the business owner’s assets because of unpaid taxes from 2001, 2002 and 2003 to the tune of $34 million. Joe, on the other hand, claims the government has $100 million of his money tied up and is adamant that he owes the IRS nothing.
Joe’s lawyers have filed papers in federal court requesting that the ban be lifted. Francis says that the hold has putting him on the brink of financial ruin and bankruptcy.

Levi Johnston aka ‘Ricky Hollywood’ got some bad news this week from Anchorage, Alaska. The 19-year-old aspiring model learned that his mother Sherry Johnston is heading to prison.
She received a three year sentence on Friday after pleading guilty in August to one count of possession with intent to deliver the painkiller OxyContin. Five other felony counts were dropped in a plea deal that saved her from spending an additional two years behind bars.
The 43-year-old will serve her sentence at Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in Eagle River. Her attorney, Rex Butler, has filed paperwork with the Department of Corrections, requesting that his client be allowed into the ankle-monitoring program, that would allow her to serve her sentence under home arrest in Wasilla.
Son Levi was at the hearing to lend his support during his mother’s sentencing on Friday, having wrapped up his Playgirl photo shoot in Los Angeles.

Hey, remember this guy? Who could forget Adnan Ghalib…right? He was the paparazzi member who dated singer Britney Spears during her meltdown period and quite frankly could have been her third husband.
Well, he’s back in the news and this time he’s heading to jail. Here’s what went down — earlier this year Ghalib was accused of running over Ram Moskowitz, a process server. Ram was only trying to do his job, delivering a restraining order that would keep the photographer away from Spears.
When the incident first occurred, Ghalib plead not guilty, but at the urging of his lawyer, he changed his mind. Ghalib made a deal with the court, pleading no contest and receiving a lesser sentence for leaving the scene of an accident.
Because of the agreement, earlier charges involving felony assault and battery have been dropped. Adnan will serve a 45 day jail sentence and will be put on 36 months probation, and be required to complete a 52-week anger management course. Ghalib must also partake in 45 days of hard labor in a followup community service program.
The Spears team may well be smiling today. Hey…where has Sam Lutfi been?

A Los Angeles commissioner approved a legal name change for Heidi Klum on Friday. The 36-year-old filed a court petition to take the last name of her husband Seal. From this day forward she will be officially known as Heidi Samuel.
The couple married four years ago and have three biological children, the youngest born just six weeks ago. A fourth child, daughter Leni, was born in 2004 to Klum and Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.
Heidi has had a busy week with her hosting and modeling duties associated with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2009 event that was filmed in New York City Thursday. It will air on CBS on December 1, 2009. View the gorgeous photos here.
