The American Music Awards red carpet was filled with celebrities who flocked to the Nokia Theater to see and be seen.  The entertainment was amazing, hardly allowing room for the presenting of awards.

There were several performances that stood out.  Check out Sarah McLachlan & Pink performing Angel.  We've also got Annie Lennox' amazing performance of Why.

Our red carpet notables include Julienne Hough, Jamie Fox, Brigitt Nielsen, Kat Von D, Natasha Bedingfield, Kanye West, Nicole Scherzinger, Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Sarah Silverman, Ashley Tisdale, Paris Hilton, Sarah McLachlan, Chris Brown, Daughtry, Rascal Flatts, Alicia Keys and Enrique Iglesias.

big 50 logo

Turning 50 is a major milestone, signifying the half way mark in ones life. If longevity estimates are accurate, those reaching the half century mark this year have a good chance of living to age 100. Hollywood celebrities are NOT immune to getting older despite their protestations and we've gathered photos of some of Hollywood's finest who were born in 1958.

We know who they are and we're going to share that information. Those who have already turned 50 this year include Ellen DeGeneres, Sharon Stone, Holly Hunter, Alec Baldwin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Drew Carey, Annette Bening and Prince.

Those turning in the months to come include Kevin Bacon and Michael Flatley in July, Madonna and Michael Jackson in August, Andrea Bocelli in September and Jamie Lee Curtis in November.

hot100 results header

Tina Fey made the top spot on this years AfterEllen Hot 100 list. The lesbian and bi website opened their second annual vote at the beginning of May and asked women to nominate the women that they found to be most attractive. Only 21 of the 100 are openly lesbian, including Ellen DeGeneres, Portia di Rossi, Cat Cora and Kristanna Loken.

This years poll received over 100,000 votes with some surprising results. Comparing their results against Maxim's top 10 picks, only two showed up anywhere on AfterEllen's list. One of the hot actresses that straight men and gay women agree on is Megan Fox. She hit the top of Maxim's Hot list and found favor with lesbian women as well - at #58....gasp!

The list includes women from all over the world — Canada, England, France, India, Mexico, Norway, and Spain — ranging in age from 18 to 57 years old. The majority of women on the list are actresses or TV personalities, there are some musicians this year, as well as a few writers, a chef, and an athlete.

We've included photos of the top dozen below. You can check out the complete list at

The official Lollapalooza lineup for 2008 has been announced. This year's event will once again take place in Chicago's Grant Park, as it has since it's resurrection in 2005 as a two day destination festival.

The lineup this year is a mix of hip hop, modern rock, nostalgia and more, with acts such as Kanye West, Gnarls Barkley, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead.

I am extremely excited about this lineup and hope to make it this year. I saw Rage Against the Machine perform at Lollapalooza in 1996. They were the secret band at the event and they totally rocked.

We've got some great photos of the glitz and glamour that permeated the auditorium for The 80th Annual Academy Awards telecast at Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The annual Oscar presentation has been held since 1929 and recognizes excellence in cinema achievement.

Hollywood's brightest stars - including Ann Hathoway, Miley Ray Cyrus, Dame Helen Mirren, Heidi Klum and Katherine Heigl - painted the night red at this year's Oscars. Project Runway host Heidi Klum lead the way with a dramatic entrance at the Kodak Theatre in a custom-made John Galliano gown.

We've got the complete list of winners here. We've also got photos of all your favorite celebrities in their finery. Check out the photos after the jump.
