Adam Levine was at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City on Friday for the Adam Levine Signature Fragrances Launch Event.

The Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach was in the Big Apple to promote his new line of fragrances for both men and women.

Levine has famously bashed celebrity fragrances in the past, tweeting in 2011 that he wanted to “put an official ban on celebrity fragrances. Punishable by death from this point on.”

At a private party last week in West Hollywood where Levine debuted his brand, he seemed to be in spin mode, backpedaling a bit. “I thought it would be nice to have something real and long-lasting and something that can compete with any fragrance, let alone celebrity fragrances,” he told Us Weekly. “I’m not a fan of celebrity fragrances.”

Levine describes the men’s fragrance as “very kind of simple and citric.” And of the women’s fragrance, Levine says, “It’s something you can enjoy if you’re in close proximity to a woman and smell her neck or her arm or something.”

“I don’t like being bombarded by a whole flower garden or marshmallows.”

Only in Hollywood would it be appropriate to write a book about smoking weed and have the stars tell about their experiences. “Pot Culture” written by Shirley Halperin and Steve Bloom does just that, with some pretty big celebrity names.

To name a few of the stars that talk smack about the sticky stuff; Adam Levine, Lauryn Hill, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and Miles Davis.

If you were looking for pointers on how to cover up pot breath, Adrianne Curry said, “I carry orange lip gloss, which covers up the pot smell….for mints, I prefer icebreakers. They’re really strong and burn your tongue, but they cover up the smell in two seconds.”

Cisco Adler demonstrates how to make a gravity bong, while Jonah Hill shows us how to get stoned smoking your weed from an apple.

Many, many more stars dish about smoking the wacky tabacky. Some you may even be surprised by. We’ll keep it a secret and will let you enjoy the book. I wonder how many stars have bought ditch weed?

Maroon 5‘s front man, Adam Levine, has been telling the whole world the reason he broke up with tennis star Maria Sharapova.

“She wouldn’t make any noise during sex,” Levine said. “I can’t tell you how disappointed I was. I really thought, like a lot of guys, that she’d be the loud screaming type. But instead, she just lay there like a dead frog. She even got angry if I started to moan, said it ‘ruined her concentration.’ It was so disillusioning that I went on Paxil for a month afterwards. Really, it was much more of a shock than when I found out there’s no such thing as the Easter Bunny.”

The lesson here – don’t date Adam Levine. Regardless of how you are in the sack, the whole world is gonna hear about it. I mean, who does that? Is he in high school? I bet I know where Maria would like to stick her tennis racket.
