Prison photos circa 2009 and 2012

Notorious mass murderer Charles Manson will likely not see freedom in his lifetime after a California parole board turned down his twelfth parole request.

The 77-year-old prison inmate shows no signs of rehabilitation according the board members and is considered too great a danger to be released.

A statement the inmate made to a prison psychologist was quoted by John Peck, a member of the deciding panel, “I’m special. I’m not like the average inmate. I have spent my life in prison. I have put people in the grave. I am a very dangerous man.”

Manson and his ‘family of followers’ were convicted of killing 8-month pregnant actress Sharon Tate and six other people during a bloody rampage in Los Angeles in 1969 – pics and details here.

His attorney DeJon R. Lewis pushed to have his client transferred to Atascadero State Hospital. The board nixed the idea in favor of having him remain locked up at the state prison near Corcoran. His next parole hearing won’t occur for another 15 years.
