Dina Eastwood filed divorce papers against her husband Clint Eastwood on Monday, asking a Monterey County Superior Court to officially end her 17-year union.

After announcing their split on August 30, Clint's estranged wife had a temporary change of heart and withdrew her legal separation request on Oct. 7.

Her newly-submitted divorce filing cites irreconcilable differences and requests physical custody of the couple's daughter Morgan, 16, spousal support, and payment of attorney fees.

Clint Eastwood, 83, was photographed in L.A. in September with Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, a woman who was once married to one of Dina's former high school pals.

Dina told the New York Daily News, "I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms. Tomlinson-Fisher. I look forward to new beginnings."

Reports indicate the woman in question has moved into Clint's L.A. home and has been spotted driving his Mercedes Benz. In addition, her son has been working for Clint as a production assistant on the set of 'Jersey Boys.'

The veteran actor divorced his first wife Maggie Johnson in 1984 after a 31-year union.  He is father to seven children: Kimber Tunis, Kyle Eastwood, Alison Eastwood, Scott Reeves, Kathryn Reeves, Francesca Fisher-Eastwood and Morgan Eastwood.

Model Scott Eastwood is featured in the October issue of Town & Country, looking buff and manly.  The 27-year-old bears a striking resemblance to early photos of his famous father Clint Eastwood.

The popular lifestyle magazine has Scott listed as one of the 40 most eligible bachelors - see the full list here.

Scott and his sister Kathryn grew up in Hawaii with their mother Jacelyn Allen Reeves, a flight attendant.   Their actor father did not acknowledge these two biological children until they were teens.  Scott Reeves eventually took on his famous father's surname, and appeared in small roles in a number of Clint's movies.

Scott enjoys surfing and is part owner of the Saddle Bar in Solana Beach, California.  He had this to say about his career goals: "I want to be a man's man -- not a kid actor or a glitzy pop star but a no-bulls--t leading man."

We've included side by side black and white photos of son and father to demonstrate the strong family resemblance, right down to their hairline.

clint eastwood and his wife separated

Dina Eastwood confirmed Thursday that she and actor Clint Eastwood have been living apart but remain close for the sake of their daughter.

According to the 48-year-old wife of the veteran A-lister, they have been separated since June 2012 - before his now infamous parody at the Republican National Convention.

They wed on March 31, 1996 and reportedly spent their 17th anniversary apart - a tidbit that was reported by Radar earlier this year but didn't pick up much steam in the media at the time.

The 83-year-old 'Dirty Harry' actor was seen with several of his daughters at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival in April, which was right around the time that his wife checked herself into Sierra Tucson rehab facility for treatment of depression and anxiety.

In 2012 Dina Eastwood starred in a reality documentary television series on E! Network.  'Mrs. Eastwood & Company' was filmed at her Carmel-by-the-Sea mansion in California and was not renewed for a second season.

According to Radar, it was the reality show that caused a major rift in the marriage.  Clint didn't want her to put their family life on display, preferring his privacy.  Her decision to go forward with the project fueled his decision to move out.

The couple's daughter Morgan is 16.  He has six other children from previous relationships: Kimber, Kyle, Scott, Kathryn, Alison and Francesca.

Actor and Director Clint Eastwood's wife Dina has entered rehab. After suffering with depression and anxiety she has decided it was time to get help.

Former reporter and television news anchor Dina Eastwood, 47, gained fame on the E! reality show 'Mrs. Eastwood & Company' and as a host of 'Candid Camera.'

Mrs. Eastwood has reportedly entered an exclusive Arizona treatment center to get help with depression and anxiety and is not seeking treatment for substance abuse.

We checked her Twitter page and discovered that she hasn't updated it since late last year.  At that time she tweeted, "JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER: If you are having an 'odd' day; OBSERVE THE STRESS OR CHAOS, DON'T BECOME IT! Luv, Dina"

Clint and Dina wed in 1996 and have a 16-year-old daughter.  They last appeared together at a red carpet event in 2011.

Eastwood, 82, is a large donor at a rehab hospital in Monterrey, CA.  In fact their youth program is named after the actor.  The program specializes in teen drug, alcohol and mental health issues.

It is expected that the Eastwood family will release a statement in response to the TMZ report.

francesca eastwood 2013 miss golden globe

Following a long tradition of celebrity offspring who have handed out the coveted Golden Globe trophies each year, A-list actor Clint Eastwood's teen daughter will take on the task shortly after the new year.

Francesca Eastwood, 19, appeared last night at a Globe's party and said, "I'm a little worried, maybe, about falling over or doing something like that.  I do not want to wear a ball gown, but I think that fancy dresses are reserved for the nominees.  I'm planning on something simple that won't make me fall over."

Her mother is actress Frances Fisher, who engaged in a five year relationship with Clint from 2000-2005, though they never married.

Francesca appeared during season one of the E! network series Mrs. Eastwood & Company, starring Clint's wife Dina Eastwood and their 15-year-old daughter Morgan Eastwood.

Clint's daughter Kathryn Eastwood served as Miss Golden Globe in 2005 and presented her father with an award for 'Million Dollar Baby.'  She was born to flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, a woman who carried on a four year affair with the actor while he was still married to actress Sondra Locke.  That secret union also resulted in the birth of a son, Scott Reeves.

Hosting this year's star-studded Golden Globes event live from the Beverly Hilton will be the comedic duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.  The NBC broadcast airs Sunday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT.

chairbama skit doesnt bother obama

Barack Obama told USA Today that the RNC speech delivered by veteran Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood did not offend his political or personal sensibilities.

On the contrary, POTUS claims to be a huge fan of the acting and directing legend.  "One thing about being president or running for president -- if you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession."

Eastwood spent eleven minutes sparring with invisible Obama ... actually running over his allotted time by a full six minutes.

His Hollywood peers hit Twitter in great numbers to diss or praise Clint, depending upon their particular point of view.

Obama took the opportunity to mock Eastwood's speech by tweeting a photo featuring himself sitting in a chair during a meeting.  We see just the back of his head and can't help but notice that a gold nameplate on the back of said chair is engraved "The President."  He tagged it: "This seat's taken."

Check it out below:

clint eastwood talks to a chair

There was excitement in the air Thursday night at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.  Everyone was buzzing about "mystery speaker" Clint Eastwood ... before AND after his 11-minute conversation with an empty chair.

Eastwood, 82, set the stage by telling us that President Barack Obama was seated next to the podium and then he proceeded to argue with POTUS.

The celebrity Twitter crowd felt the need to respond and they weren't all in support of the man of the hour.

Adam Levine: "Clint Eastwood has gone f**kin nutterbutters yo."

Roger Ebert: "Clint, my hero, is coming across as sad and pathetic.  He didn't need to do this to himself.  It's unworthy of him."

Rachel Maddow: "Looking at Rubio & Romney but all I can see is the Clint Eastwood performance art that just happened on that stage.  What were they thinking?"

Bob Newhart: "I heard that Clint Eastwood was channeling me at the RNC.  My lawyers are drafting our lawsuit..."

Olivia Munn: "Clint Eastwood was talking to an empty chair at the RNC...No, that's not the set up for a joke.  It's not even a joke."

George Takei: "Clint Eastwood's RNC speech was to imaginary Obama in an empty chair.  I'm drafting a DNC speech to imaginary Romney in an empty factory."

Not everyone took a negative view:

Kirstie Alley: "I just saw Clint Eastwood's speech and I LOVED it!!  Funny as hell & on point!! & I'm a Democrat.. US media is SO biased in favor of Dems."

Janine Turner: "I thought Clint Eastwood's presence was electrifying and I praise him for being a Hollywood actor & taking a stand!  Thanks Clint Eastwood!"

Check out the video and decide for yourself ... was he spot-on or did he miss the mark by a mile?

if it isnt clint eastwood then who

Rumors are swirling over the identity of a surprise "mystery" speaker who will take the podium tonight during the final night of the Republican National Convention in Tampa.  Those in the know say it will be Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood.

Things got interesting on Monday when a revised convention schedule included a "To Be Announced" speaker.

Fox News has since reported that a Republican source "confirmed" it is in fact famed actor and director Eastwood, who publicly endorsed Romney in early August.

Other rumor mill favs have included Christian conservative NFL QB Tim Tebow or an appearance by the late Ronald Reagan as a 3-D hologram.

Film critic Roger Ebert tweeted, "If Clint Eastwood *isn't* the Mystery Guest, anyone else will be a crushing disappointment."

clint eastwood endorses mitt romney

Clint Eastwood endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney Friday night during a Sun Valley fundraiser.

"I think the country needs a boost," Eastwood told reporters at the campaign event which was attended by about 325 people.

The 82-year-old Oscar-winning director said he hoped Romney would restore "a decent tax system that we need badly, so that there's a fairness and people are not pitted against one another as who's paying taxes and who isn't."

"Also we don't want anybody taking away the Olympic medals, tax wise, from the Olympic athletes. The government is talking about getting a couple of nickles," Eastwood said, addressing the tax imposed on Olympic medal winners.

“It's now more important than ever that we need Gov. Romney, and I'm going to be voting for him as I know most of you will be,” Eastwood told the crowd as he stood beside Romney. “We've got to just spread the word and get the whole country behind this because it's going to be an exciting election.”

"He just made my day," Romney said.

Clint Eastwood's family will be the focus of a new reality show expected to air on the E! network.

The show, which will focus on the relationship between Clint's wife, Dina, and their daughter, Morgan, and Clint's daughter, Francesca, will explore what it's like to live in a family of "Hollywood royalty," according to sources connected to the production.

The 81-year-old actor will not be a main character on the show, but has agreed to make a couple of cameos, TMZ reports, saying producers hope to get the show on air in the next few months.

Well, that just makes our day.
