Dancing hillbillies, a proposal spelled out on a pizza...no, you're not having a nightmare. It was last night's season finale of of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Honey Boo Boo's 19 year old sister Anna was popped the question...on a pizza. Her boyfriend of one year, Michael, had secretly asked her parents for her hand in marriage. June and Sugar Bear gave their blessing for Michael to carry out his special New Year's Eve proposal at the annual Tallapoosa Possum Drop.
If you're wondering what a Possum Drop is, it is what it sounds like. They drop a possum encased in a ball of lights at midnight. A big ol' lit up ball o' possum.
Anna also has a one year old daughter, so Michael is getting a package deal.
Reality television star Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson and her family members were injured Monday night when a car driven by patriarch Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson was hit by another vehicle at an intersection.
The family was attempting to turn left on a green light near their home in McIntyre, Georgia, when another driver ran a red light and hit them.
Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Shannontold TMZ that she suffered severe chest bruises, Alana had a headache, Sugar Bear had a contusion on his back and Mama June Shannon injured her back.
Several family members were transported to an area hospital in an SUV driven by their bodyguard shortly after Mama June refused transport to a different medical facility by EMT's who were dispatched to the scene.
Mama June, 34, issued this statement: "As many of you have heard, we were in a car accident last night. It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck. We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin's birthday. She turned 14 today and no matter how sore we feel we are going to go out and celebrate."
She added, "As always we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes."
TLC network will premiere the third season of the family reality show 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' on January 16, 2014 at 9/8 Central.
The colorful family recently faced off against 'Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro and his family during a celebrity segment on the popular game show 'Family Feud' with host Steve Harvey.
During the taping, Harvey chided Honey Boo Boo, "What you ain't gonna do is come on my show and be more crazy than me!" She responded knowingly, "We're way more crazier than you!"
Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson, of the TLC‘s hit reality show 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,' is reportedly battling a neurological disorder that is affecting his brain.
Mama June Shannon revealed on Facebook Monday that she and other family members are staying at a hotel in Jacksonville, Florida while Sugar Bear undergoes a battery of neurological tests at the Mayo Clinic.
She posted, “Have to go back for more tests today and we will be here all week to run tests and more appointments to get the right diagnosis and treatment. Will update more later."
June added, “He's having spells where he passes out and we don't know the cause & medications aren’t helping. We are all nervous to see what will be done with everything. Will update when we hear something #nervous and #hoping for the best.”
Sugar Bear's mystery illness began in May when he was first admitted to a Georgia hospital for fainting spells. June asked for prayers at that time while they awaited test results and later indicated they would be heading to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for more testing.
The family traveled to Washington D.C. in July, as evidenced by the above photo that June shared via Twitter.
Hit reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" has its critics but the numbers prove that people are watching.
Mama June Shannon spoke with the Huffington Post about fame and how she and her family are handling it. One thing she knows for sure, her daughters will not become jaded like the Kardashians.
“My girls are not high-maintenance like them. They prefer to play in the mud rather than shop for new clothes. My girls are not labels. My kids love knowing who they are and know who they are, so, no.”
“We are just everyday people. We don't consider ourselves celebrities. We still have respect for people just like we did before. We have not let the fame go to our head because we are people people. We love to hang out with our fans. We love to meet them."
"We do meet people at our house, they pull up and some conversations last two minutes, some conversations last two to three hours. I’m the same person I was six months before all this started. You just know where you come from and don't forget the people before all this came.”
All the criticism doesn't bother June who knows that her family is the butt of many jokes, “I know who I am. People are crazy and what’s so funny to me is the haters that talk about our show, they can quote just about everything. So those haters know every detail of our show and keep our ratings up just as much as die-hard fans. It's kind of funny, you hate our show so much, how do you know so much about it?”
Have you watched the TLC reality show 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' lately? We admit our mouth gets dry after viewing a 30 minute episode because we become slack-jawed from shock.
We've got a news flash. Family matriarch Mama June Thompson recently revealed to TMZ that she has banned 'Crazy Tony' Lindsey from appearing in any future episodes of the reality show.
This is classic! In November 'Crazy Tony' was arrested for his involvement in a dangerous highway stunt in Georgia involving someone dressed in a gorilla suit attempting to scare passing motorists. There was alcohol involved and 5 adults were apprehended and charged with reckless conduct.
That was apparently too much for Mama June. She claims, "We love him as a friend ... but that was a crazy story." Feeling the need to explain her rationale, she added, "Not trying to be mean, but we want to keep it family-oriented."
Clearing up family tie innuendos, June admits they call him cousin on the show but he really isn't, "Crazy Tony's just a family friend ... who is just crazy."
Tony is more than a little bummed by the news and suggests, "TV's changed that family."

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and her 'Jersey Shore' sidekick Jenni 'JWoww' Farley are totally smitten with 7-year-old Alana Thompson of 'Honey Boo Boo' fame.
Snooki admits, "That show is my guilty pleasure. They're honestly like, a really good family. Just because they're different, people make fun of them and I think that's so disgusting."
Both women claim they have been fans of the child star since she first appeared on 'Toddlers & Tiaras,' long before the miniature beauty pageant regular landed the TLC reality family gig 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.'
JWoww acknowledges, "They're kind of like us in a sense - they don't care, they're a big family, they love who they are. We love who we are. They're different, but at the end of the day they're not doing anything harmful. They're just having a great time."
