Jay Z is in love with his new baby girl and he's showing it to the world the best way he knows how, through his rap talent. Just a few short days after her birth, the hip hop star released a song titled Glory in celebration of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
The proud Papa's lyrics share some very intimate details. He admits he was scared when his wife Beyonce became pregnant because she had previously suffered a miscarriage, he expresses his love for the mini version of himself and even describes where she was conceived.
The song is extremely heartfelt and touching. So how are the Carter's doing after the birth of their first child? The power couple released a statement expressing their happiness and even cleared up the rumors that Bey had scheduled a C-Section for her delivery.
"Hello Hello Baby Blue! We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support. - Beyonce & JAY Z."
Congrats to the Carter's!
