Who needs the Oscars?  Jimmy Kimmel challenged Ellen's epic celebrity "selfie" with his own photo captioned, "- No Brad Cooper but 3 Clintons & a Kimmel

The photo was taken Saturday at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Tempe, Ariz..  While at the event, Kimmel tried to get Hillary to open up about her 2016 Presidential plans, but she remained tight lipped.

As of right now, Kimmel's photo has been retweeted 8,400 times.  He has quite a ways to go if he's going to catch up to Ellen's 3 MILLION retweets!

According to the Associated Press, when asked by a student about the race, the former United States Secretary of State responded that she is “very much concerned about the direction of our country” and is “obviously thinking about all kinds of decisions” regarding her future.

kanye plans to play nice with kimmel

Two weeks after Kanye West trashed Jimmy Kimmel on Twitter, the rapper has agreed to be a guest Wednesday on the late-night 'Live' show.

The "rap feud" began when Kimmel did a parody of West's recent BBC interview, using a kid to recite direct quotes.  One boy delivers a heartfelt dialogue while the other sips a milk shake from a straw while looking totally uninterested in the spiel.

Kanye went ballistic with a series of profanity laced tweets that trashed Jimmy and cast A-list actor Ben Affleck in a decidedly bad light.

In true Kimmel fashion, he addressed each of the Twitter missives as they appeared on social media after asking his audience, "Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago?  Just me?  OK.  I didn't know if he was mad at all of us."

Forging on, he explained, "He got very angry because of a bit we aired this week.  He gave me the option of apologize.  He said 'Your life is going to be much better if you apologize.'"

The Twitter rants was deleted while Kanye was taking in Paris Fashion Week with Kim Kardashian.  Perhaps she encouraged her baby daddy to play nice.

Read deleted tweets here.

It remains to be seen whether the talk show host will in fact offer up his regrets -- or if the 'Yeezus' singer will humble himself in front of the masses.  Stay tuned...

kanye seriously upset with jimmy kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel spoofed Kanye West the other night, using a kid actor to deliver lines verbatim that were previously uttered by the rapper.

It didn't sit well with the 'Yeezus' entertainer, who promptly picked up the phone to give the talk show host a piece of his mind.

Kimmel explained, "Kanye recently did an interview with the BBC and we had a kid actor take the words and reenact them this week.  We just had the kid say the stuff Kanye said and apparently it has upset him.  He called me and told me I had to apologize publicly and that was really the only choice."

Then West hit twitter for a series of decidedly pointed messages that were laced with expletives and included sexual innuendos involving Jimmy and Ben Affleck.

His cap lock button must have been stuck because he blasted seven more tweets in full SHOUT mode before posting a couple of mocking photos for good measure.

Kimmel summed it all up by declaring, "Finally I am in a rap feud."  Check out Jimmy's entertaining discussion of the subject below:

jimmy kimmel reveals hoax

Jimmy Kimmel admitted last night that the viral video showing a girl catching fire while twerking was a stunt.

The YouTube video titled 'Worst Twerk Fail EVER - Girl Catches Fire' has had 9 million views since it was posted six days ago.

Monday the talk show host revealed that "Caitlin Heller" is actually stunt woman Daphne Avalon, who filmed the video two months ago and was "sworn to secrecy" about the pants on fire drama that ensued when she staged an up close and personal interaction with a candle flame.

He told Avalon last night, "Well, thank you for helping us deceive the world and hopefully put an end to twerking forever."

The most famous Twerk exhibition of 2013 took place at the VMA Awards at the end of August, when Miley Cyrus put on an X-rated performance while Robin Thicke crooned.

Check out the full directors cut of 'Girl Catches Fire' below.  It ends with Kimmel bursting into the room with a fire extinguisher just in time to put out the fire, after which he gives the camera a thumbs up while grinning broadly.  Good one, Jimmy:

jimmy gets in on robin thickes action

Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharell's tune 'Blurred Lines' is one of the hottest hits out right now, with vocals that are delivered with just the right amount of charm and swagger.

The NSFW music video is available in two version, one featuring scantily clad models and the other showing them topless.  Nearly 50 million views have been registered thus far on YouTube.

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel referenced the R&B video during his opening monologue Thursday night.

He told his audience, "I was extremely disappointed when I saw it.  Guillermo and I were supposed to be in it, but we were cut out.  Since they're on the show tonight, we were able to get the unedited version of the video, no offense, but I happen to think this one is better."

The video starts out with Thicke crooning while several lovely ladies gyrate and then things get crazy when Kimmel and Guillermo, dressed like Thicke and Pharrell, join the group.

'Blurred Lines' hit #1 on the Billboard 100 chart this week.  Check out the spoof below:

The 45-year-old funnyman said, "The last two days have been a roller coaster.  Last night, Matt Damon hijacked the show, and today I'm getting a star on Hollywood Boulevard."

He expressed "some concerns" while addressing the crowd.  The first was that Matt would also hijack Friday's event and that "people will pee on my star."

Jimmy reminisced about his childhood, "My parents brought me here to Hollywood to visit the Walk of Fame when I was 10 years old, and I never imaged they would leave me here to fend for myself."

On the eve of Kimmel's 10th anniversary of the premiere of his late-night show on ABC, Carson Daly joked, "Jimmy's show tapes right here, and it seems like there's a big turnout for his star ceremony, but it's really just the family members that work for him taking a smoke break."

Check out video of Jimmy's remarks:

Matt Damon took over 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Thursday night after years of being the butt of a long-running joke.

He renamed the show 'Jimmy Kimmel Sucks' and joked during his monologue, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long, long time.  This is like the time I lost my virginity, except this is going to last way longer than one second.”

The actor's star-studded guest list included  Ben Affleck, Sheryl Crow, Andy Garcia, Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, Reese Witherspoon, Amy Adams and Demi Moore.

jimmy kimmel hosting 2012 emmys

Jimmy Kimmel will host the 64th annual Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles September 23.

The Emmys are traditionally hosted by stars of the network broadcasting the show each year. This year the ceremony will be telecast on ABC, which airs Kimmel's namesake late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"I hope to be able to do for the Emmys this year what Eddie Murphy did for the Oscars," Kimmel joked, referencing Murphy's decision to pull out as as host of this year's Academy Awards.

This year's Emmys will be executive produced for the 12th time by Don Mischer.

"We are thrilled to have been asked to produce the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards," said Mischer. "We love television and look forward to working with the Television Academy and ABC in creating a show that is fast-paced, humorous, unpredictable and at times irreverent, but clearly celebratory of our incredible industry
