‘Men in Black 3’ actor Josh Brolin spent four hours behind bars on Jan. 2 after being arrested in Santa Monica on a charge of public drunkenness.

The 44-year-old celeb, the son of actor James Brolin, was partying with a couple of his pals and things simply go out of hand when the group started having way “too much fun.”

Josh was booked Wednesday at 3:02 a.m. and later released after posting $250 bail at 7:14 a.m. His rep confirmed that the allegations were true and that Brolin will not be required to appear in court.

The husband of actress Diane Lane, since 2004, will appear on the big screen next week when his latest project, ‘Gangster Squad,’ hits theaters. Co-stars include Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte and Emma Stone.
