It's not just tabloid gossip this time around: Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, and again suffering from severe morning sickness.
Kensington Palace confirmed the news Monday. She and Prince William, both 32, are expecting, growing their royal brood again after a little over a year.
The palace said in a statement Monday that "the Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news." The news, of course, is the following:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child."
Not unlike her first pregnancy with Prince George, who was born in July 2013, she is suffering from acute morning sickness and receiving medical treatment.
The palace was probably forced to confirm her pregnancy before they would have liked to, just like late 2012, as Kate was forced to cancel an official engagement.
