Gaga Gone for now

What started out as a few postponed tour engagements for Lady Gaga has quickly morphed into a full blown cancellation of her 21 remaining Born This Way Ball concerts.

Earlier this week the entertainer announced she would reschedule shows in Chicago, Detroit and Ontario, Canada because she was suffering from joint inflammation that she had been hiding from her crew and handlers for over a month.  Things deteriorated a few days ago when she was suddenly unable to walk.

According to her rep, “After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip.  She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover.  This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal.”

None of the shows will be rescheduled, as earlier reported, and refunds will be available beginning Thursday, Feb. 14.

Kanye West Cancels TourLady Gaga Cancels tour

This probably won’t come as too much of a surprise when we report that Kanye West and Lady Gaga have canceled their much talked about North American tour.  This announcement was made yesterday by tour organizers Live Nation.

The main factor in the cancellation was low tickets sales.  Insiders are saying that West’s and Gaga’s people were also at odds. TMZ is saying that Lady Gaga wants no part of the drama that follows Kanye and that she feels she is better off playing smaller venues.

Kanye is still living down his latest drama (video here) of raining on the parade of country singer Taylor Swift as she “tried” to accept the award for Best Female Video at the VMA’s.
